Dnno1's posts are pure comedy. It's hilarious how the best examples he can come up with are Pamela Anderson not wanting to work with a dog, and Depp not wanting to ride horses.

They are. And to think in that other thread he said he was respected and that I'm the only one arguing with him.:whatever:

I would rather see a World's Finest movie instead, but yes I'd support JLA if Bale and Routh signed on. Bale has been really wise with picking his film roles so that alone with give me hope.

I don't see where you're going with this.

I will explain later, but let me have some more fun.

Those links are actors refusing to work with animals, not fellow actors.

Ok, you want other actors not wanting to work with other actors? Here ya go:

Furthermore, you remember Val Kilmer? He openly refused to repeat the Bruce Wayne role for "Batman and Robin" and basically broke his contract to do a follow on film. I bring this up to show you another example where an actor could not be compelled to do another film (especially with Robin).

A lot of you really want Bale and Routh in the Justice League picture but the truth of the matter is that the may refuse to do it because of other commitments that they already have. We really don't need them anyway since this it about Superman and Batman (not Bale and Routh) and the Justice League. I only played with you, Majik, because you had some nerve insisting that they had to work with people they didn't care about. Nobody has to do anything the don't want to do. That is the power that no one can take away from us.

I think they should have Superman in it but leave Batman out until the sequel. Routh needs to be Superman IMO.

I agree. That means they can do JL now, if they want to, and than put Batman in the sequel after the third Batman movie is done. :yay:

Lindsay did not choose to quit, she was fired...:whatever:
And from a site called Hollywood Rag, I tend to question the credibility of the site.

If this is true and Kilmer was open about it, please find a link to where you read about it, cuz I hadn't heard the details of why Kilmer didn't return.

You really don't understand the industry if you keep thinking that this is what I'm saying. So please, stop wasting your and my time trying to deny a statement that I never said or implied.

I think a lot of you are not considering the fact that these guys might not want to do this together

How do you know? A lot of report said Bale would like to work with Routh someday. Wheter it Superman/Batman or probably something else, I'm sure Bale want to work with Routh.

I never heard Routh and Bale say they never wanted to work with each other. So I mean, this whole argument is rather stupid and pointless.

Yes.

They really should at least attempt to get Bale and Routh. I don't see why Bale couldn't be in it, as long as his Batman series doesn't really mention the events of JLA so the series can remain kind of seperate for those who only enjoy the Batman series. This is pretty much how it's handled in the comics if you think about it; very seldom does Batman mention his more far out JLA adventures in the slightly more gritty and "real" Detective Comics or Batman comics.

I really doubt that Bale would say no either, especially if he was brought on as a producer and had script approval. And got a really big paycheck.

Warners needs to make Man of Steel and Green Lantern, then do JLA. And probably let Nolan finish Batman 3 as well.

Bale and Routh would be a start to fixing eveything wrong with this film but then they SHOULD delay it till after Batman III and MoS.

Miller's still sounding like he wants to film next yr with Armie Hammer, Megan Gale and DJ Cotrona. :/

I've been reading the major forums on Internet, and looks like much people just hate the Justice League movie because it doesn't have Brandon Routh and Christian Bale.

So, i came to my fellow hypers with this question: If Routh and Bale we're envolved on ''Justice League'', would you support the project?

I'd support it but I support it already!:brucebat:

Yes, that's true, but if you read further you will see that it was because her fellow actors refused to work with her. This example wasn't about Lohan, it was about her fellow cast members.[/quote]

He refused to work on further Batman films because he felt that his role was being marginalized and upstaged for "the villains, babes, or sidekicks".

I have shown proof that people have refused to do gigs in Hollywood. Maybe you don't understand.

This movie will suck no matter what happens. I can't believe that this project isn't dead. But, WB has a big hit on their hands, so it's time to do what they usually do and f**k everything up again. They'll probably go ahead with this JL crap which will piss off Chris Nolan, who will then decided not to return for the third Batman film, so instead they'll hire some hack director who will slap the thing together and kill the goddamned franchise all over again. Way to go.

I'd be behind it with Bale and Routh in it. Remember, the WB let the options for most of the actors expire, so they either have to recast or renew the actors' options.

But guys, you are forgetting the most important card here: contractual sequel options. Routh is contracted for two more films and Bale is on for one more film (including an ensemble pic option), so if the WB overrides Miller' picks for Bats and Supes in exchange for Bale and Routh they'll use them.

Nolan's Batman doesn't belong in a JLA movie. It just doesn't fit the real world scenario that he has skillfully crafted.

Singer's Superman would be better off forgotten.

The whole concept of this movie sounds like a trainwreck. Thus I don't think Bale and/or Routh could save it. Even if I wanted them to.

Routh = YES
Bale = NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...Only Routh's Superman fits in with a JLA universe. I would support that choice.

If they start this up again with the same rumored cast, then the bad buzz will just start all over again, maybe even more so this time. The (most of the) fans hate those casting choices.

Brandon Yes, Christian No.

Me too. It's rather superficial, but I'm not interested in the Nolan Batman's appearance existing in Justice League. If there's ever a time to break away from rubber suits, it's with this production. Also, the Nolan universe is just lacking certain things we could see in JL. More scientific, athletic, detective, cold, ect. Rather than have a drastically different character, I'd prefer a clean break.

Don't you think it will be strange seeing only Routh in this?

Maybe.

I know for sure I would be vehemently opposed to a JLA movie without them in it. But I'm still not keen on the idea at this time.

In 5 years? OK. Sure. Go for it.

Right now? Superman is on such insecure footing in the films. Wonder Woman should have her own launch, as should the Flash and Green Lantern prior to a team-up. And Batman is on the top of his game, the biggest smash success of all comic book films in history. Why do this now?

Let Batman shine. Let him be the dramatic example to shake the other DC characters out of apathy. Fix the problems with Superman. Give Wonder Woman her own film. You get a hot enough chick with the chops to act and you'll get a really big audience - chicks who want to see a chick superhero, and guys who want to see a hot chick kicking ass.

I just think of all the dumb ideas... doing a JLA movie now, ESPECIALLY if they do it with an alternate Batman and/or Superman... is suicide. And stupid suicide at that.

Yeah, check back in five years, after the Siegels have taken the rights to Superman back...

This would be a dream! A dream I tell you!

maybe without brandon routh. well he kinda sucks. I don't like superman he is like a god. someone who is faster or who can stop time should just stab him in the heart with a kryponite knife. He's getting more and more strong and less and less weak to kryptonite, but someone should kill him during an eclipse maybe. like a normal person. P.S. would he be normal during an eclipse?
