Breaking Bad - Part 10

It was cruel, but I don't know if I'd call it unnecessary. Jesse just a few episode asked Walt to quit working him over all the time and play it straight... there you go, kid.

He told Jesse specifically to hurt him in a moment where he had already lost and was going to die anyway (as far as Walt knew). It was an entirely emotional response to him feeling betrayed by Jesse.

I'm so glad that GTA V is coming out on Tues. I totally need something else to keep me occupied until next week's episode. Whew.

"Team Walt" doesn't mean you think everything he does is justified or right. It just means you like the character, and you're rooting for the bad guy. People do it all the time. Characters like The Joker and Darth Vader do crazy heinous acts all the time, but people still root for them, because they enjoy the character.

Some people take it a bit further though and constantly play devil's advocate for Walt's actions, defending them every step of the way. That's who I tend to think of when I think "Team Walt".

He did it all for his family! :argh:

I'm sure there are people who say stuff like that, but not everybody who's still rooting for him are saying he's doing the right thing. Again, they just like him.

Well, his initial intentions were somewhat "good", but it did spiral out of control.

Papa has to bring home the bacon for Walt Jr's breakfast. Personally, I blame this all on him, and his greedy lust for a warm breakfast. :oldrazz:

That punk ***** rat Jesse got what was coming to him! Yolo! Team Walt 4 Life!

P.S. I hope that rotten **** Skyler gets dead to. Hehehe.

That's you Team Walt. That's what you sound like. :o

He destroyed his family. They probably won't even get any of his money.

I was being facetious. :o

I love the guy and I'm with him til the end, but he's ****ing **** up.

Serious question. Do you guys think, given all the events of Ozymandias...that Walt finally regrets everything he's done? Does he wish he never decided to cook meth in the first place? Or will he go down kicking and screaming, adamant that he was a man who tried to do the best he could for his family. Basically, is Walt even still Team Walt right now? He seemed legitimately shattered tonight. Yes, the Jane reveal was pure Heisenberg, but it was also raw emotion. I think on some level Walt has to know this is all his fault, no matter how much he wants to blame Jesse for it.

So did Skylar catch on to what Walt was doing on the phone?

Yeah, the way he was talking to Skyler he kind of didn't want to say some of those things. He was shook up the whole time.

That is my biggest question right now. I'm not quite sure how to read the phone conversation with Skyler.

She did, you can see her catching herself when she was on the phone with Walt and see she was reading between the lines.

I think he'll continue to think he's done the right thing, mainly by how he treated Jesse; he blamed Jesse completely for something that was ultimately his own fault, and not once during the episode does he really own up to the facts of what he's done. Even during the conversation with Skyler, he acts like he's done nothing wrong (even if I think that during that conversation he WAS making sure Skyler wasn't implicated in anything he did). Maybe in the next couple episodes he'll realize his mistakes, but I think he's not going to have any regrets over what he's done.

Sklyer definitely knew, she was about say something like "what are you talking about" but caught on and played along.

I think over the course of the series, he's gotten deeper and deeper into this and has really gotten off on all he's had to do for this "Empire Business" of his, but I think tonight's events might have actually snapped him back to being the man who actually debated with himself for hours about taking another man's life. I think he has sort of snapped out of it a bit and looks around, asking himself "How could I have done all this?"

Now, I don't know if I'd say he regrets EVERYTHING, but I'd definitely say he's in a different place than he has been recently.

what exactly do you guys think walt was really saying?

was it Walt
making sure its ALL on him?
