Honestly, at first I thought his pride had just taken control and he went crazy, but when the tears are streaming down his face and Skyler's face is in complete awe... it becomes clear.

Poor Marie and Walter Jr. though. What must be going on in their heads...

Also, I think a little bit of it his him being honest. Sure, he's saving face for the family by appearing to be the evil controlling husband, but some part of him does regret Skylar not trusting him and he resents her for it.

Walt went through everything he did to earn the cash that he made, and for what? Those goddamn Nazis.

I hope the M60 is for saving Jesse, but honestly, Walter killed him when he revealed Jesse's location. Why commit to that and then suddenly change heart and go in guns blazing for Jesse?

I'm thinking the M60 is for personal revenge on the gang; and when it all goes down, Jesse just happens to be alive and Walt still saves him.

After that... I have no idea.

Okay, this was one of the most gut-wrenching episodes of BB ever. However, gotta disagree with Gilligan's assessment of it being the best of the series. I felt it possibly equalled some of the best episodes of the series but I wouldn't go as far to say that it clearly stood above them.

No way in hell walt will save jesse at this point. He would of never pointed out that he was hiding under the car, and revealed that he watched jane die, if he had second thoughts about keeping jesse alive. Honestly, I hope jesse escapes somehow and kills walt.
