Breaking Bad - - Part 11

So am I the only one who finds Walt's fall to be totally satisfying? Like, I don't want to see him come out on top in any way. I actually hate him far more than Elliot an Gretchen. Ever since he crossed into "emotional abuser" territory with Skyler, I've been hoping to see him broken down into nothing, and FINALLY facing the simple truth that "doing it for the family" is total BS when you're forcing your family to be your family for the sake of your ego.

The only character I can root for here is Jesse, and that's...not going well, haha.

So, fellas...what shall we watch after this show ends??

Spanish Language Walter White:

Walter's eyes at the end... HOLY ****. Bryan Cranston is so ****ing good. And that music... holy ****.

I can't even.... I can't. This is beyond masterful. So many emotions.

I could never have wanted him to fall, or found it satisfying, because I knew it was gonna happen.

That was apparent in the first episode.

Now while part of me was glad to see Walt face the consequences of his actions, I still want to see him conquer the forces going up against him right now.

Guys...guys...

Huell is still in the safe house.

I was just about to make a post about the look in Walters eyes, holy crap is he going to bring a storm.

You're not the only one but I'm the complete opposite. I want to see him come out on top

I climbed aboard the Walter White wagon train a long time ago (okay, only a few months ago, but God this show has made it feel longer) and I'm not gonna stop now.

**** **** up, Walt.

If Breaking Bad doesn't sweep next year's Emmys.....I don't know.

What's gonna happen to Huell? That's the most important question.

I genuinely believe that everything Walt has done was for his family.

But with that said, there is no question that, in the latter half of his "career", he got to caught up in the idea of being Heisenberg, and did some things that didn't have to happen. Like getting so cocky about his position as Heisenberg, that he wouldn't let Hank believe Gale could've been Heisenberg.

And for a time, it did become more about the money than what's best for his family. But I think that in his retirement, he learned about himself a bit and is why he decided to stop.

But even still, Walt was NEVER just gonna let everything he worked for go.

Especially considering that it was still for his family.

Letting it go would mean that everything he did was for nothing.

Any possible theories on how this will end?? I'm like stumped haha. Hate that it's ending :(

I thought it was a nice touch too see that Jesse has led to the death of another one of his love interests. He got to recently relive Jane's death, which all started because he was the user next door. Now another girl in recovery, one that he preyed on in a help group and tried to sell meth to has been snuffed out too. In traditional tv terms Jesse is the sympathic protagonist tonight, but he really isn't. It's all about the gray matter. Even a cold blooded child killer like Todd is given a few precious scenes where he chooses loyalty to Sensei Walt over his lust for Lydia in refusing to kill Skylar. The show's dedication to fleshing out and adding dimensions to characters is amazing.

I just want to thank our lord and savior Vince Gilligan for allowing the unicorn that is Saul Goodman to get away with his head still attached.

Thank you.

For the finale of Breaking Bad, make sure you all stock up on Ensure.

Everything in this show is gray.

Because even the most evil characters, Like Gus Fring and Todd, can have moments where you actually feel for them.

That doesn't change what they've done, but it does humanize them and make them relatable on some teeny, tiny level.

And even someone like Walt, who has done despicable things, could have a very good reason for doing it.

I felt bad for Saul. :csad:
