I felt bad for Saul. :csad:

But he's away from it all with his cinnabon dreams, damn it. :csad:

Also, this GIF has limitless potential:

I gotta say, I'm sure some people will say this episode was a letdown after Ozymandias, but I thought for a "setup" episode, this was masterful. For so many reasons. I've long wanted to see the Heisenberg case become national news and wanted to see Elliot and Gretchen/Grey Matter paid off in some way, so this episode was very satisfying for me in that sense.

It was incredible when the main theme kicked in at the end.

I like to think it was the eye of the storm. The next episode is going go full throttle!

I think Walt just wants to be heard and that he wants to get his point across... he did bad things for the right reasons.

I hope he leaves all the money to Saul. He's the only one that won't have a guilt trip about getting $11 mill. Boo friggin hoo....

Mr Kane52630.........

I need Walt replaced with a clip of Gale from his music video, and I need it in 100x100 avvy format.

Do this and you'll have my eternal gratitude.

Everything in this show is gray.

Because even the most evil characters, Like Gus Fring and Todd, can moments where you actually feel for them.

That doesn't change what they've done, but it does humanize them and make them relatable on some teeny, tiny level.

And even someone like Walt, who has done despicable things, could have a very good reason for doing it.

Gustavo's death is a great example of it.

When you had the nursing home bombing, the good-est guy in that situation was probably Gustavo. We know Hector was cold and callous, even willing to nearly drown a kid in ice water to prove a point about brotherhood. But he's in a wheelchair, a stroke victim that has to ring a bell to communicate, and he had been tormented by Gus for a while. Sympathic qualities. Walt is the guy we've been following from day one, we know his hardships and decisions that led him to the hit on Gus. But he's also blowing up a nursing home.

So I think it's safe to say that Elliot and Gretchen were lying through their teeth about Walt's "contribution" to the company?

I'm pretty sure.

Dear God, that was great. I was wondering how they'd fit in Walt's time in New Hampshire and they were able build the perfect bridge to the finale. Robert Forster was an unexpected plus. But now I'm totally rooting for Jesse, especially after what happened to[BLACKOUT] Andrea[/BLACKOUT]. Walt's got nothing left to live for now, so it looks like he's ready to go out guns blazing.

I have not once ever felt for Todd. And the only time I felt sorry for Gus was during his flashback in Mexico.

For a moment I wondered if they were actually telling the truth, but I think Walt has been portrayed as far too brilliant throughout the course of the show for that to be the case. They are just trying to protect their company.

Really surprised they gave The Disappearing Man a face, let alone Arthur Petrelli lol cool casting.

I loved that little video package that played after tonight's to hype up the finale.

This is going to be a long week. I can't believe it's going to be all over soon. What a ride it's been!

It's been a loong time since I've seen Elliot's birthday party or Walt's lunch with Gretchen, but I think it was pretty well established that it was Walt who provided the research that launched the firm, and Walt is the one that came up with "Gray Matter" as the company name.

So E & G were lying through their teeth

But with Walt, it's different. People are doing a lot more than "relating to him on some teeny, tiny level." They're fully sympathizing with him and taking his side while vilifying the (mostly) good, sensible people he dragged into this ego-driven wake because they don't support or appreciate the HORRIBLE choices he made "for them." It's crazy to me.

Of course, ultimately this is all just a testament to the complexities of Gilligan & Co's writing that so many people can read these characters so differently without misinterpreting a thing, just like in real life. It's like they've created actual human beings, lol.

On a side note, I've never felt for Todd. In the slightest. He's a non-person to me. Just a super-polite homicidal robot.

Dem eyes said it all.

This is no longer about money and power. This is pure unadulterated revenge. **** IS GONNA GO DOWN.

Yep, and in that last moment when he was clinching his fist, while sitting at the bar, he had that crazy Heizenburg look in his eyes. It was at that moment that Walter White died and all that is left is Heizenburg!

The clenching of the fists. The expression on his face. They're gonna get got.

I'm not joking, that very well might have been the best episode yet. I cannot get over how good EVERY frame of that was. Jesus. No way in hell did I ever think this would be better than Ozymandias.
