That just isn't true. They were trying to distance themselves from Walt, nothing more. The circumstances of Walt's falling out with Grey Matter has never been fully explained but it's clear it was messy and while Gretchen and Elliot felt they did nothing wrong, Walt felt cheated. It was an unfair slight to discredit Walt's involvement with the company but it makes sense. Theirs is not a criminal enterprise that kills people.

Yeah I mean what are they supposed to say? Walter's our best friend in the whole universe and we owe everything to him? They overplayed it a bit but I can't blame them for not wanting to associate themselves with a drug kingpin.

Some thoughts on the Ricin...

From Wikipedia about ricin:

Because the symptoms are caused by failure to make protein, they emerge only after a variable delay from a few hours to a full day after exposure.
Ensure (protein) + Ricin = Walt having enough time to go Heisenberg and die in his sleep or on his own terms. However, now that I remember that diner scene at the start of last year 05.01 episode...He may have taken it with his coffee there before he goes rambo, wouldnt surprise me with Gilligan.

Thats probably a more fulfilling ending in my eyes

Thank you, Kane, for ripping my heart out once more.

Andrea :(

We need a gif of dat stare.

Okay, seriously, this show is becoming gut-wrenching. And it's so awesome.

Three things stood out for me.
First, Walt's call to Jr. My god, that was so sad... "No, it can't be all for nothing!" Poor Walt, still thinking only about money.
Second, Gretchen and Elliot's stunt on TV. Walt was a broken man, until he saw that. As we all know, his pride was always his biggest flaw but now it seemed to have rather motivated him to get up, go kick some ass and maybe die like a man instead of wasting away in the mountains. I wonder if he'll go after Elliot and Gretchen as well as the Nazis.
Third, speaking about the Nazis... wow, those guys are something else... I mean, even fraking Gus Fring only threatened to go after your loved ones. I actually think that for justice's sake, Jesse has to at least help bring them down. I'm betting he kills Todd.

Yeah this is how I feel about all of that. Can't talk more than a few sentences on account of being :wow:

I still can't believe we are on the final episode to this great show novel.

A friend of mine at work looks almost exactly like Meth Damon lol. Sometimes I ask him how's Jesse doing.

I really want to change my gamertag to Meth Damon.

I wish Walt's family could somehow retrieve the broken tape of the "I only had you in my heart" confession.

I believe this was and has always been absolutely true, however, when Walt became addicted to the adrenaline rush of illegality and moreso the personal power he came to wield through finally utilizing his brilliant mind to achieve huge returns rather than coasting along, resting on his laurels as he had been for several years, the game was up.

Skyler: "Why was it so d*** good?
Walt: "Because it was illegal."

That's the series right there.
