Fantasy Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz to return for new ‘Mummy’ film

The Mummy Returns was set in 1933, released in 2021. So we're expecting 1957-1960 setting, right?

Cold War backdrop with Russians trying to harness Mummy power?
What Mummy place would the Soviets be raiding? 🤔

Lol I'm just remembering that Kingdom of Crystal Skull was in 1957 and I was thinking of this baddie

I kinda wanna see a movie where Imhotep, Scorpion King and Dragon Emperor team up with the O'Connells to take down a new mummy. Or maybe all the previous mummies plus a new one are warring against each other with the O'Connells in the center of it all.

You're giving me this energy. :o

Now why would you put something like that out into the universe? :weeping:

The Rock needs to keep pretending to be a real actor and let Matt and Tyler make the movie they want to make.
Don’t pretend you don’t want to see this again

Also bring back Kelly hu since anuksunumun probably won’t be back even though she literally slays

Sure Fraser was looking pretty rough for awhile, but he's been looking a lot better lately, and he'll no doubt have a personal trainer for this as well so I'm sure he'll look great by the time they start filming. Radio Silence being behind it is exciting, they shouldn't have any trouble with being both scary and fun/exciting at the same time.

Fans of this franchise also need to be kind to Fraser given the role it played in his physical hardships. The stunts from The Mummy films caused a lot of wear and tear and he suffered from chronic pain and had to undergo serious back surgeries and I believe a knee replacement.

All of those things make it hard for one to keep fit and being laid up so long makes weight gain a certainty.
