What Mummy place would the Soviets be raiding? The Mummy Returns was set in 1933, released in 2021. So we're expecting 1957-1960 setting, right?
Cold War backdrop with Russians trying to harness Mummy power?

@DarthSkywalkerYou're giving me this energy.I kinda wanna see a movie where Imhotep, Scorpion King and Dragon Emperor team up with the O'Connells to take down a new mummy. Or maybe all the previous mummies plus a new one are warring against each other with the O'Connells in the center of it all.

Didn't he have a hair piece in the original?Random thought, but they're definitely doing a wig for Fraser as Rick. His hairstyle is too iconic.

Young Brendan Fraser is my type. But then Oded Fehr comes along and gives me another reason to watch The Mummy.Didn't he have a hair piece in the original?

Don’t pretend you don’t want to see this againNow why would you put something like that out into the universe?
The Rock needs to keep pretending to be a real actor and let Matt and Tyler make the movie they want to make.

As Darth said, he wore in the originals and it seems to have have been brought back for his new role in Rental Family:Random thought, but they're definitely doing a wig for Fraser as Rick. His hairstyle is too iconic.

Fans of this franchise also need to be kind to Fraser given the role it played in his physical hardships. The stunts from The Mummy films caused a lot of wear and tear and he suffered from chronic pain and had to undergo serious back surgeries and I believe a knee replacement.Sure Fraser was looking pretty rough for awhile, but he's been looking a lot better lately, and he'll no doubt have a personal trainer for this as well so I'm sure he'll look great by the time they start filming. Radio Silence being behind it is exciting, they shouldn't have any trouble with being both scary and fun/exciting at the same time.
