^I want a grandfather clock set to the time that Thomas and Martha Wayne were killed.

*Isn't it funny that Batman and Superman both have moms named Martha?

I'm hoping he'll have a portrait of his parents or at least some mention of them or a photo on his desk. They're far to important to him to be not mentioned again. It's fine it didn't happen in TDK since so much was going on and happening but with Rachael dead there needs to be a reminder as to why he started doing this to start with.

I want a grave scene! :csad:

That would be beautiful. Amazing if in the suit but even just as Bruce it still would be great. Maybe at the end of the movie when things have finally been resolved.

basically what the penguin's graveyard visit looked like, which I've always loved.

I'm not so keen on it. Having Bruce Wayne visiting his parents's graves is perfectly fine, but having him do it in the Batsuit is completely unnecessary. It adds nothing to the scene dramatically, and it would makeno sense. If I were to be visiting my parent's graves as a reminder of a crusade against crime, I would want to be as subtle as possible and not draw attention to myself. Remember Batman: Mask of the Phantasm? In that movie, Batman visiting his parents in costume lead to Andrea figuring out Bruce Wayne was Batman.
It's the kind of thing that screams style over substance, which isn't something I'm interested in seeing.

I wouldn't mind either way.

I'd love for something like this as well:

Yeah, i don't mind if it's Bruce or Batman either as long as we get that scene.

From the perspective of a director and the actor, you would want Bruce Wayne/Christian Bale... not Batman... in the grave scene.

I can roll with that.

Those were Bruce Wayne's parents not Batman's so it would resonate much stronger with audiences and make the narrative stronger.

Batman let his father die in Begins on that train.

I'm not against him visiting them with his Batsuit because visually it looks awesome but frankly it would make more sense that he does this just as Bruce Wayne.

Totally agree. You pin pointed what I also found off-putting about that image.

Like was posted above something like this would be more appropriate:

Agree, except the last part. I would be against Batman visiting the graves (in costume) because if it doesn't make sense, then I don't give a damn if the image is awesome. I am prefer substance over style.

I agree.

I'd rather it look like this:

During a massive thunder storm, heavy rain, and a huge tombstone.

Why is it necessary that it be during a massive thunder storm, heavy rain, and a huge tombstone? While I don't have a problem with it, that could come off as being way overdone and overdramatic to audiences and critics. It has the subtlety of a sledgehammer, which the Nolan Batman films get plenty of flak for in the discussion of their philosophical themes and ideas already.

This is still the best I've seen around it's very true to nolans batverse

Superb- that would be pretty much perfect.

Like someone said before, it's just a bunker with cave-like walls.

I prefer an actual cave.

the thing i like about this image is the idea of incorporating the bunker, which is a much more practical workspace, while leaving the exposed walls of the cave as a reminder of the first film. it's a good balance.

I still think that this would be perfect for the Batcave. Its a perfect mix of the Begins/ TDK/ and comic Batcave. (Note: I didnt make this)

These are some of my favorite Batcave designs.

Agreed. It looks like a practical workspace for the protection of the electronics and so forth from the moisture.

I know some people want the Batcave to be, well, a cave, so I propose this compromise: Two areas of the Batcave, the workspace and the entrance. The workspace portion of the Batcave contains the electronics and the stuff that Batman needs to be protected from moisture looks clean and free of guano, then there would be the cave entrance behind the waterfall, which is where the bats live and it looks like a plain old cave. Thoughts on my idea?

Obviously this isn't what the Batcave (in da Nolanverze~!) is going to look like but this looks pretty badass.

Nah... my favorite caves have always been the dark, low-key ones. The idea that Batman only has what he absolutley requires.

The 1989 cave and Batman: The Animated Series are the best... and Nolan should really consider going down that route.
