Fantasy Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel the Vampire - Part 3

Oh no, not the worst character! :o

While I would VASTLY prefer a series focusing on previous Slayers.......Ill take this if its good. I wish SMG and co. would see thats the way you continue the show. If we go sequel......get that team together who knows the series and whats good (because SMG kindo f sucks with her sequel series Cruel Intentions)

There's no way I can see NB being invited back though.
@Primal Slayer's reaction is me knowing Xander will probably be gone. :o

Not to discount potential for creative maneuvering, but both Boreanaz and Marsters being well over fifty (sixty in James’s case) makes me wonder if Angel and Spike are off the table.

Kinda hard to suspend disbelief when they don't look the same 20 years ago. :o

I mean this'll be a Disney production. Maybe they can use the anti-aging CGI for Angel & Spike.

I do feel like their way of resurrecting Spike on Angel is something they could use to explain his aging. Would maintain some of the weight of his sacrifice in the Buffy finale if it’s still something the ends up killing him in the long run.

Not necesarily. If they want them here, they will be. Them aging could be written into the plot.. If they do a 1-2 episode cameo, CGI and makeup can take care of that

Also whereas Marsters hasnt aged well, Boreanaz most definitely has

Thats from last year. It wouldnt be a stretch for him to reprise Angel and just have us suspend a bit of belief

Not if their vamped up.

I think Marsters aged okay, Boreanaz looks a bit better. To be frank, since SMG is reoccurring— we don’t need Spike or Angel necessarily.

I would love to see this show kinda sorta be a sequel to the Audible series, but that’s probably not on the table. Probably no Eliza Dushku cameo considering she left the business after that Michael Waverly harassment suit.

Tentatively curious about this. Reserving judgement. I'd love to see a cameo from Anthony Head if it goes ahead, but I'm not sure how to feel overall.

…I need to learn more before I have any real thoughts lol. Zhao is a strange fit tonally based on the two projects I’ve seen from her but she’s talented and I LOVE Poker Face so I’m here for the writers. It can certainly be done without Whedon…but we shouldn’t expect the same vibe. Would love to see them get a couple of the old writers like Jane Espenson back though.

Right now I’m wondering if the comics are about to go the way of the old Star Wars EU because I doubt they’ll be taken into account.

Yeah, ditching the comics is for the best.

I loved the comics initially, but keeping it up for as long as they did (what was is when Dark Horse lost the rights? Season 11?) kind of diminished my enthusiasm.

But the kick-off, that Faith arc by Brian K. Vaughan, the Fray crossover, formally revisiting the animated series concept… I was into it. For S8, at least.

They probably wont but lord do I hope they do......have the Slayer lottery start to die down where not as many slayers are being activated as they were in the beginning.

THis new Teen slayer will have all the advantage in the world that Buffy never did and there has to be something that keeps an entire Slayer army from helping out to save the day which lessons the overall threat the newbie will face.

He's still around but a train wreck... Disney don't you dare bring his ass back.
Well...look at this way...SMG probably wants David back and David refuses to be in the same vicinity as Nick so....

But Xander and Dawn...
