Fantasy Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel the Vampire - Part 3

It made me happy to learn that SMG was shipping Buffy/Willow, because that's honestly where I felt it should've gone after Tara died. Sorry Kennedy. All of Buffy's men were terrible love interests. I loved Angel in his own show, though.
Willow has been dropping hints. :o

Don’t tell me you’re one of those Spuffy shippers, Lil…

Kennedy wasn’t my cuppa either, but I saw Buff and Wil more as sisters. And I’m admittedly a Bangel stan since I was 7.

Now Buffy renouncing her toxic vampires for Faith, I could buy that.

Spuffy worked when it was one-sided and they weren't doing it. Also the line is always sexual assault.

Buffy.Willow.....romantically? That gives me as much of an ick as Angel/Cordelia did. Just no.

Oh yeah when I want Cordy, Buffy, Willow, and Dawn to do a whole episode that is just a bizarre Golden Girls parody, I'm the cook. :o

Oh yeah, Buffy/Faith would've rocked too.

Gawd I hated this relationship. Buffy didn't need a man to be happy, but Joss made sure to make her miserable dammit. :o

Remember how Joss said Kitty Pryde was his favorite X-men. And how, at the end of his X-men run, he didn't just kill her, no, he trapped her inside a giant bullet destined to be trapped forever.

How he was able to portray himself as a feminist is beyond me.

Where only Joss's self-insert can visit her. :o

Queerness in a supernatural young adult show of the ‘90s?

You all just reminded me of my favorite show of all time. Does anyone else remember…?

Im watching Back to the Hellmouth special that they put together for the complete series and I forgot all about it. Filmed in 2005, both shows are done.

Such an interesting cast:
Joss
Marti
Charisma
Drew Goddard
Jane
Emma
Doug
Nicholas
Danny Armstrong

Wild, I don't remember this in my box set at all! Maybe I just wasn't interested without SMG. 🤷‍♀️

Guess you need to dust off that box set and watch it.

Of course nothing really new. Except I never clocked that Emma was the only one Whedon had no hand in hiring.

  • Danny failing his audition for Xander
  • Nicholas dropping shawarma in his audition....basically got him the role
  • Charisma auditioning for Buffy and being asked to read for Cordelia
  • Original intent for Helpless was for Giles to be reinstated by end of the episode but Joss liked the idea of Giles being fired- all from a freelance script that changed Giles entire trajectory
