Apocalypse Burning Question: Who will be killed in X-Men: Apocalypse?

Since Singer is already labeling this as a disaster movie and there will be a lot of destruction... I wonder if they plan to kill one (or more) of the characters to showcase how powerful and dangerous Apocalypse is.

Brain: Jubilee
Gut: Havok, Jubilee
Heart: Mystique

Well clearly anyone in the end scene of dofp cannot be dead. So all of them are erased.... Wolverine new of the aged quicksilver in the dofp timelines so maybe he should stay as alive but I understand this new timeline can change anything

I'd quite like a older jubilee as there are some fantastic Chinese/Asian American women who could play that.

Maybe arch angel because of the whole Ben Forster version..... Havoc as will help cyclops learn from this and change for good? Also never mentioned in the past timeline. [this is my main thought]

Any new characters used in this story... I.e caliban and psylocke could be killed but people would complain as it be a wasted.

From a story perspective the most interesting and the one with the most impact would be Mystique. It would have a major impact on both Charles and Erik, especially if it was Apoc that carried it out and unite them again to take on Apoc together but it would leave major scars going forward for both men.

Whether it can happen because it would mean losing JLaw in the franchise is another matter all together.

I have a strong feeling about Havok.

He was one of the few bit characters to survive DOFP , yet I doubt Singer will focus on him much.

It would be interesting to see MYstique die since that would have a profound effect on both leads, (and I doubt JLaw would return to the franchise)

Jean could die, then reborn like Phoenix and beat Apocalypse once and for all

Mystique could die too, we didn't see anything from her in 2024 fixed future.

I think Havok might die to give Cyclops some more character depth. As far as Horsemen go, I only really see Psylocke getting killed off, which would be a shame as I'd like her in any potential X-Force film. They won't kill Storm or Magneto. Maybe Archangel, but odds are they'll turn him back into Angel or something

When it comes to archangel I imagine unless his wings are just coated in metal then he won't be able to be turned back into angel per say and i personally think angel will be seen as expendable since is played by Ben hardy

I don't think they will kill off jubilee since she is probably to much of a fun toned character Even if she is Played by an actor whose pretty much got nothing but x-men on her acting credit

Psylocke could die since quite a few decisions that have been made with this film have been quite surprising so you never know

Moira dying would be a little weak since she ain't a mutant and is just a normal person

When it comes to the future of mystique they will likely put the character before j law and before using her to develop others

See if they killed her off as a way to give her redemption that could work... But as you say she is already like a good guy right now and using her as a device to bring magneto and xavier together probably wouldn't resolve her own character very well

I think they might just kill Mystique off since Jennifer Lawrence is probably not coming back. They have gone a long way with that character. And honestly, if she does die fighting alongside Charles, it would be a fitting arc for her FC trilogy persona.

Alex Summers is definitely going to die and probably early too. Like as soon as Apocalypse appears.

They might kill off Apocalypse. But I hope not.

It would only be a fitting arc if she was in some way redeeming her for something but let's be honest there is nothing to redeem as she hasn't done anything bad, infact I think she will go with magneto again by the end

When it comes to Jennifer Lawrence they won't kill off mystique Since the character because she is so recognisable and it's why she was used in FC in first place, so I am betting they would recast again if they needed too

Hopefully when it comes to killing someone off they don't do a similar thing they did in FC with Darwin, it needs to be new and fresh

Havok. 100% he's a goner. 50/50 on Mystique. Can see them wanting/hoping to keep Jen in their back pocket for the future. Can also see them, as others have pointed out, having Apocalypse kill her. Which would certainly hit Charles, Erik, Hank, and potentially Kurt pretty hard. And probably be used as the excuse Magneto needs to flip sides.

Yup, I think Mystique is gonna die too for these very reasons.

Havok will probably die too. It will factor into Cyclops' development.

That'd be a terrible reason to off her. Anyway, Havok is the most likely imo as well. I could maybe seeing them offing Psylocke or Angel, but I kind of doubt that they'll want to off any "iconic" X-Men (especially without letting them BE X-Men first). I don't see them re-introducing the younger cast, only to bump them off either.

Caliban and Poccy himself are obvious possibilities to die as well of course.

I really, really hope no one dies in this movie. I'm still praying for them to write Emma and Banshee back somehow. I really hope no one dies.

Havok is a very interesting character and has a lot of potential. And even if Havok himself is not interesting enough for them, he can be useful for Scott's character development. So as Angel.

Please Fox/Singer/Kinberg, don't kill anyone.
