I don't want to be that guy and yeah it's still early, but, did anyone doubt that BvS with Terrio writing a superior script, Affleck as Batman and Snyder directing would be a really good to great film?

These are the exact key factors as to why i highly believe that Batman v Superman will be Zack Snyder's most highest rated film on Rotten Tomatoes which is currently set by Dawn of the Dead (2004) at 75% certified Fresh.

If this film hopefully gets to stellar reviews, then I will definitely be thanking both Chris Terrio and Ben Affleck for it first before anyone else in the cast and crew of BvS.

I don't know who Marc is. Is he one of those people who don't like anything

Marc Bernardin does Fatman on Batman with Kevin Smith. I'd say he was sceptical.

Damn ppl are so pessimistic lol...understandable after mos ,but even we discussed it here already...mos wasnt bad the way ppl made it out be.... as far as bvs is concerned we have legitimate ppl say that there buds didnt like mos but liked this one.... to me thats a sign of good things to come...

Ohh mannnn...

I don't think I've heard anyone talk about what happens if this movie ends up being super amazing. I'm talking hands down best CBM ever, beyond the shadow of a doubt, even the haters got to give it up.

What do we do then ?

Celebrate. Bask in its glory. Analyse, criticize and nitpick. Call people who aren't 1000% on board "trolls". Tell Marvelites their movies are cookie-cutter and childish. Five or six weeks later, celebrate start of filming on JL... Panic that DC may not reach the heights of BvS with JL, and thus did not think out their plan properly.

Eventually, when Snyder moves on from DC, or there's a reboot/soft-reboot, declare that the movie was overrated to begin with and that Snyder "never got it".

Business as usual, in other words.

He was a major skeptic.

Just last week he said all he heard was mixed reactions. Big for him to give it thumbs up

I think the Collider gang will have fun with John Campea about the Gal Gadot thing. I can even see them presenting John with a slice of 'humble pie' or something goofy like that. If they do poke some fun at him, he'll be a good sport about it. Bottom line is he will be elated if BvS, and Gal Gadot as part of that, does well. He's about as enthusiastic a supporter as you could hope to find.

What makes you say that ? :o

You know, it's not as if any skepticism isn't justified. I'm happy it's getting good buzz. I was happy when MoS and AoU got good buzz too. When people bring up movie review websites, it's either Rottentomatoes or Metacritic. But CriticsChoice? I've never heard of the site until now, but I do know MoS has a 77/100 on that site, and I know that's not an accurate gauge on how critics felt about the movie. So pardon me for putting things into question.

Exactly, people **** on him cause of the Gal thing even though he's completely right IMO.

Critics choice has been up for years, I know it most cause people always link to it on here.

TDKR had 100/100 initially as well. It WILL go down from that.

Yeah John Campea did nothing wrong. He was right to be skeptical, but I've been listening to him for 3 years, and he always said he was rooting for her.

Questioning her acting ability when she was cast was fine, tangentially bringing up her name whenever BvS was discussed and making snide, childish remarks whenever he could just makes him unprofessional and a tool though.

Campea negative obsession with Gal is annoying. It was fine for a while, but he went overboard during a segment of buy or sell the 3 posters that had the trinity and logos. He sold them because one of the posters was of WW. He would have liked them if WW was not one of posters.

Some of you are way too sensitive about him disliking things.

Campea was an ******* when it came to Gadot.

IIRC he hated the fact that his fancast didn't come to fruition. For the sake of argument lets say I understand that.

What I don't understand and absolutely won't stand is his vitriol towards Gadot when all other "popular" choices for Wonder Woman weren't exactly mind-blowing worthy.

Lol trying to stealth insult people with the classic "bro it's not so serious bro" :funny:

I don't mind anyone disliking things, that's everyone's right, it's about dragging her name into any and every discussion related to BvS just to remind everyone how he doesn't endorse her.

It doesn't matter who it is or who is being discussed, constantly trying to undermine someone and then crying crocodile tears whenever someone says you should give it a rest makes him a little pathetic.

He just shouldn't have been so sensitive about her casting, right? ;)

You guys do know Campea is one of the biggest fans right? He gets chills just talking about his anticipation for the movie. Reading on here you'd think he was a Marvel fanboy.
