I know a few of you might not like it because of the " who's worthy" rule.

Is Rune Thor the one who fought Kurse?

Rune Thor is usually what people call Thor from his Avengers Disassembled tie-in, after he'd sacrificed both of his eyes to attain knowledge of rune magic and wisdom and stuff. He could do basically anything.

I don't really have a problem with Jane being worthy
my issue is with Jane "being" Thor

it's the guys name, it'd be like if Falcon was calling himself Steve now

Marvel loves to talk about how the important parts of their characters are who they are underneath
and yet, they've decided to just change who they all are underneath over the past couple years
Captain America, The Mighty Thor, Wolverine, Hulk, they don't matter... It's Steve Rogers, Thor Odinson, Logan, and Bruce Banner who most people love

When are you talking about? The only time I can think of where Thor is specifically powered up to beat Kurse is when he puts on the belt of strength during Secret Wars 2, and then the Beyonder just bumps Kurse even higher anyway.

Yeah it would, makes you wonder while looking for answers to "who's behind the Infinity Stones" if Thor bumps into Bill.
Right now it makes me also wonder if the rumor of Kenneth coming back has something to do with maybe luring Hopkins back and explain WHY Balder was hidden away?

I was thinking more around the lines of his decision of going to Heaven over Valhalla prevents his return.

Someone was trying to say the one Asgardian warrior that lifts the Casket of Ancient Winters off the podium on Jotunheim was Balder in the one flashback in Thor.
