Here we go again folks, the suits at WB in all their money-grubbing, penny-pinching wisdom announced that they are going ****e out their currently awesome Saturday morning cartoon block on CW to 4Kids next year so all our favorite shows like The Batman, Legion of Super-Heroes and Spectactular Spider-Man can be replaced once again by all that import crap that we thought we were getting rid of finally. They are too lazy and cheap to make their own quality programming, that is why we lost Justice League a little while back and thats why we are losing these great shows now. Corporate greed strikes again! Greed is the root of all evil and it is going to be the downfall of humanity if something isn't done about it.

I hate 4Kids and they're crap shows like pokemon and yugioh. I miss the good old days with the original batman, superman, hulk, spider-man, x-men, silver surfer, iron man, JLA :(

At least i'm finding girls to do in my tv time.

What does this mean about The Batman? Won't it continue to be shown? So what's up with Bye Bye Batman?!:( :cmad: I want ANSWERS! Now!

Well, from the way it read under the tagline on the main page, it sounds like they are getting rid of all the superhero shows. Thats what I am going by.

( Not towards you if your thinking that :cwink:)

So Kids WB ordered 26 episodes of Spectacular Spidey for no damn reason?! :cmad: I don't believe this!!! I can care less for The Batman right now but Spectacular Spidey was going to be greatness!:cmad: Son of a *****!!!!

Sooo angry:cmad:

:supes: 4Kids is a joke! They need to keep their hands off the CW line up of classic characters. 4Kids has louseu programing to begin with. I want my Batman, LSH, and Spider-Man!!!:supes:

Why!!! The batman and spidey.:csad: that not fair!!! Who ever is going to "do away:cwink: " with 4kids I'm coming to and lets stay in the shadows:ninja:.

I'm sorry I don't share your enthusiasm for the Batman. To me that show jumped the shark after season 2 and really jumped with this new season.

This all starts in the fall 2008 season so we will finish out this season of Batman and Legion. I guess we will see the first season of Spidey too but that will be it. I doubt that Cartoon Network will save the day on this they have been pretty much taken over by anime and ******ed Nicktoon style crap too. Again showing that WB would rather go the cheap and easy route by buying up stuff made by others to fill their network's time.

for those who want in the fight againts 4Kids, put LAB4K! in your sig!

(Let's All Bomb 4Kids) AKA "Labfork" or "Labforkay"

True, and that's a shame too.

They, with their ability to air some very violently graphic cartoons, could seriously give the Dark Knight a very interesting and fascinating show...

The thought of the Joker in full violent glory is...wonderful.

Cartoon Network wont save anything look at what they did with JLU! Plus they are owned by the suits at Warner Bros as well.

We may be jumping the gun here but history backs up our negative reaction to this situation between 4Kids and the CW. Cartoon Network cancelled Justice League & Teen Titans, The WB cancelled superhero shows including X-Men Evolution and here we are in the familiar place of networks buying cheap knock-offs of Yugi-Oh & Pokemon in place of high quality shows that have a built-in audience like The Batman, Legion of Superheroes and The Spiderman. That being said it's par for the course. I remember when Dungeons & Dragons was on CBS but the show kept getting preempted by sports. We are fortunate enough to live in an age where shows frequently make their way to DVD.
