The art is going to take some getting used to, but I like Luke Cage and I've liked Tartakovsky's previous work, so I'm going to give this mini a shot.

Tartakovsky's a god, i'll definitely be looking into this. Also, the style will be more in tune with the first picture than the second one, which is perfect imo.

I dont care when it's set, that costume is still terrible...and so is the art...I bet it makes Cage into a joke again, and destroys all of the bad-ass-ification Bendis has done to the character since bringing him back into the mainstream in Alias...

That's what I'm hoping for. I'm not the biggest fan of Luke Cage, but I did really begin to like him with New Avengers and Alias.
Plus, After Clone Wars and Samurai Jack, I can get on board with anything Tartakovsky does.
