Can someone update me on Catwoman?

I used to read Catwoman, but stopped bc of the OYL (the whole idea just sounds stupid to me).

Is Selina back to being Catwoman yet or is Holly still posing? Whats the deal with her baby Helena, is it really Sam's?

Yes, it is Sam's. Selina is back to being Catwoman. Selina told Slam and Holly about her killing Black Mask and how right before (or after I can't remember), her and Sam had a quickie. She got prego. Sam was killed by Black Mask's men.

what is a good issue to get back into the series?

It's still kind of a transitional period. Holly went out as Catwoman and got arrested and charged with Selina's murder of Black Mask, so when Selina sprung her she was kind of shaken. Selina's taken over as Catwoman now that she knows people are looking for her because of the Black Mask ordeal, but Holly wanted to go with her in the last issue, so it seems she might keep working as Catwoman too. But Selina's the primary Catwoman and she seems to be back in action for good now.

You could probably pick up the series with the next issue and not miss a beat. The biggest thing is the other characters' revelation of the Black Mask/Sam stuff, which you now know, so I imagine they'll be dealing with that for a while. You could always ask here if you're confused.

I've never liked the idea of Batman and Catwoman together, so I would've been pretty upset if it were Batman's. Sam was a good choice.

It's all right. It's not one of my favorites every month, but it's a consistently solid read.

But Civil War is ending so that should free up a slot

But it only came out once every 2 months anyway.

But 52 will be over in a couple months

I was pretty much indifferent on the idea of Bruce being the father of the child, but I understand where you are coming from. And if that was the case, it obviously would have been a nod to the Earth-2 Batman/Catwoman history.

They'll probally have Batman as a surrogate father for the child.
