Should Carol have a Boston accent in the movies? I think so. She's from Boston, so it only makes sense.

I think Captain Marvel sounds more marketable than Ant-Man, she even has a better Superhero name. Ant-Man did as well as can be expected and could hit 500mil worldwide with China but I think that Captain Marvel has a good chance of doing better. With respect to Ant-Man, because I loved the movie, Paul Rudd was great and Luis stole the show; Ant-Man has to have one of the dumbest powersets in the MCU. A guy wears a magical suit that allows him to shrink and talk to ants!
So, when people say that Captain Marvel won't do that much better than Ant-Man, they just don't get it. Sure, the Captain Marvel movie is still an unknown. We don't know how good it will do at the box-office, but I would be surprised if it doesn't outgross Ant-Man by a healthy 200 million.
Too bad we still have to wait another 3 years for the naysayers to be proved wrong.
Look at the writers they got and look at the Doctor Strange cast, I have no doubt that Marvel will put together a very impressive cast and crew.I'll be very, VERY surprised if Captain Marvel doesn't do better just from her more appealing name and power-set alone. If they get some exciting people in the cast and behind the camera, her stock will only go up from there.

I think it will still get that Marvel logo above its name in some of its licensing, but I don't think any voice-over guys will be calling it that, nor do I think it will be listed as that officially. I've noticed on the TV cable guides that they've removed "Marvel's" from the front of The Avengers now whenever it airs, which they weren't doing a year ago, so they seem less concerned with differentiating from those other Avengers now and with that branding in general. And I personally don't think they care if some out-of-touch DC fans get this mixed up with Shazam, lol. They have the only Captain Marvel rights in town now, and have for years. So this movie is pretty much guaranteed to not be billed as Marvel's Captain Marvel, yes?
