Agreed. I think they handled quite a bit of mythology building for both Captain Marvel and Inhumans. And handled it extremely very well IMO. Yup, the pink Kree thing always felt a little off in the comics. I think they're not going down that route in the MCU.For anyone not watching AoS, we just got a version of "Mar-Vell Lite" in Vin-Tak. OK, not quite, but it sure felt like it.
He was an underover blue Kree, with a disguising technology that made his skin look pink. He even needed Nitrogen gas to continue powering it (in the original, Mar-Vell needed Nitrogen gas to help him breathe in Earth's atmosphere). He was searching in a cave for the Kree Diviners (aka Terrigen Crystals), which felt a bit like the cave where the Psyche-Magnitron was hidden. He talked a bunch about nobility, and turned out not to be such a bad guy, except for the part where he wanted to eliminate Skye. Sif returned him to his home world of Hala.
I'd suspected as much before, but now I'm pretty well convinced that there are no "Pink Kree" in the MCU.
Also, if you're a fan of the MCU movies that dropped off the show, it's absolutely time to jump back on to the AOS train. To say that it has improved drastically would be an understatement. The show has gotten so assured with its mythology building that it's really a shame that there are MCU fans out there that are missing out.
