Obviously. The Nikolaj Coster-Waldau for Mar-Vell campaign starts here! And will one of them have been on Game of Thrones?

I can only imagine what the trailer song should be for Captain Marvel
I guess you're right. Brie was cast like what 7 months ago. And probably had to get into shape for filming IW and then this film.Because that's the standard time to start filming a movie of that size with its release date.

Just hate all the waiting.
BTW do you guys think Rhodey might make a cameo in this? Whether as a treat for the fans or something more? I doubt he'd have a large role since he's so tied into Iron Man and too old for Larson to play as a love interest. Maybe as simply a well respected-mentor.
Treat for the fans? No, those are actual actors being paid millions for their appearances. This isn't jack Kirby drawning a character for 10 panels. Unless there is a significant reason for him showing up, you won't see.
I was surprised when I read how little actors get paid for brief cameos. I don't remember the details, but it was in the thousands....and pretty low thousands. I don't remember the details, but want to say somewhere between 10-25?? I suppose it depends on the actor, but I think the above was for a pretty well known actor. Anyone know?

Well... I do want to see him in more stuff.
Oh that's a shame, and a bit of a surprise. Crossbones wouldn't have been much of a role for him but maybe that's why someone that good hasn't been in more high profile roles. Hope he breaks his audition curse soon and we see him in a load more cool stuff when GoT has finished which should clear out his schedule a fair bit.Nikolaj Coster-Waldau sucks at auditioning apparently. He talkes about how isn't very good at auditioning in interviews.
Like most actors Coster-Waldau has auditioned for tons of movies over the years and loses out when he becomes a front runner because he messes up auditions.
Coster-Waldau was the favorite to star in Vertical Limit. Columbia pictures flew him out to LA from Denmark for a final audition. Coster-Waldau said he flubbed the audition and they gave the role to their second choice Chris O'Donnell instead.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau screen tested for Crossbones for Marvel.
I agree. Cheadle only got 1 million for Iron Man 2 and probably double that/triple for the sequel. It can depend entirely on who the actor is or what is in their contract. If the actor is enthusiastic or is just really good friends with the creative team or someone in the cast, they might even work for scale (the minimum rate).
So yeah, it is really unlikely a brief Rhodey cameo would cost Marvel "millions of dollars." Whether or not it's necessary to the plot is another thing, of course.
Can't wait to see him in the suit! Who's Brie Larson..?
Is this the first indication of Sam Jackson being in the movie?
