Well Janet will be rescued from a place she was trapped in too.

Carol is either imprisoned somewhere by Thanos, trapped because she had to do it to save the world, or in hiding.

Unless Brie is only contracted for one movie and they'll cast an older Carol in the sequel

It'll be like Steve Rogers. In reality, he's 99 years old, but due to him being frozen for 67 years, he looks like 35 year old Chris Evans.

The setting is what has me really excited! As a franchise, you don't go back in time unless you have a really good reason.

They are also intriguing me with a possible Fury eyepatch origin story and a secret Skrull. Who could it be? If it's anyone...maybe General Ross?

I can't see Thanos not making an appearance a brief one. We may also get some information on the Infinity Stones. It will be a movie focused on her but also connect to A4 and the next phase. This movie became really big.

I'd love to see Peggy Carter appear here. She'd still be involved in SHIELD (perhaps as director) in the 90's.

Peggy Carter would be awesome. Ronan would also be very satisfying...he was portrayed very well in the first Guardians but we didn't get much of his backstory.

Not sure if it was mentioned here but I'd be disappointed if Ronan doesn't make an appearance. Just have him show up and wreck some skrulls and show how awesome he is.

Yeah the Ronan I've read in the comics was a much more morally grey and somewhat reasonable character who really was just trying to act in the best interests of his people. It would be nice if they took this opportunity to show us that side of Ronan before he became such a radical.

Well at least he was in Winter Soldier, which is one of the most critically acclaimed films of the MCU.

Where have the Skrulls disappeared to all this time since the 90s? And is this going to feel like Hydra having infiltrated everything again?

Maybe they'll make them related to Thanos for the MCU since their chins look similar.
