I find it a bit odd that they have Larson filming on A4 as CM before she even works on her own solo film, which is supposed to come out before A4.

Well it isn't like sA4 is all about her and she has to carry the movie. Maybe it is easier for her to get a feel of her character in a massive team up.

It can feel weird but even within films scenes are shot out of sequence and you could have your character’s death scene before you even get to know them.

It's because the two Avengers movies are shooting back to back.

Nice description of something funny that happened on set:

"We have Brie Larson on this film. She’s here before shooting the stand-alone Captain Marvel movie so we get to watch her get her feet wet for real. She’s so great, but a really cute thing happened the other day where Hulk is standing next to her and Joe Russo told her to put her hand in front of Mark [Ruffalo]’s face to stop him, and she’s like, “In front of his face?” And they explained, “that’s where his chest is,” and she looks up and yells, “I’m new! That works best if she starts ta!king with him as Banner so she doesn't realise he's turned into the Hulk and as Hulk he points out that's his chest not face forcing her to fly up pointing out she's new at this stuff!

Would like to see that in a movie though!

They aren't ready to film Captain Marvel yet but they need her to appear in Avengers 4.

Yeah she's been filming since the end of August, so it's entirely possible she shows up at the end of IW.

I expect one credit scene to be for her and maybe a mention about her during the movie. I ope the planet they fight on in IWs has something to do with her.

If they are still planning to set the film in the past and the presence and if Disney acquire the X-men rights I think it would be interesting to have Rogue put Carol in a coma then she wakes up in present day.

Adding Rogue this late in the stage would be way too difficult. Plus, the deal probably won't go through until after they start filming this, if it does go through at all

Unlikely for a deal to happen in time though. But nice to think about

I doubt Marvel is counting on the Fox deal to get completed so they can add X-Men characters to this movie or TA4.

If Carol shows up at the end it could be a huge wow moment.

Yeah but then the general audience would have no idea who she is. I think it'd make more sense to save her official introduction for Avengers 4... at that point most people will have already watched Captain Marvel and will (hopefully) actually be excited to see Carol join the rest of the team.

If this is going to be heavily a Kree/Skrull war like movie, what do you guys think the chances are we see Supremor? I really hope he makes some kind of appearance in this movie, even if it is a brief cameo when explaining Mar-Vell's history.

I think that even if they don't show us the Supremor that they need to at least hint at it for a future movie. I really think the next phase for the MCU is going to be something that mashes up KREE/SKRULL WAR and SECRET INVASION in some way. If so, they need to give us an idea about who in the MCU universe is in charge of the Kree.
