Watch them just slap a wig on him and call it a day.
Because he's going to have a minor role......5 minutes at the most, maybe 10 but that may be stretching it.
Coulson shouldn't be minor though. We are talking a major returning character. He should be Carol Danvers' co-lead.

If it's another magic nanotech helmet that just materialises, I'm out.
I think I would prefer the fire binary look over the mohawk stuff. They don't need to give her a helmet especially if it is the same effects as Iron Man, Star-Lord, Iron Spider, and Black Panther. The costume is cool but no need for head gear.Yeah in the comics she can also just kind of, materialize, her costume around herself whenever she wants.
I didnt know the writers of this also wrote Glow. Marvel has chosen well. That show is pretty much one big audition tape for a marvel flick
There are like 7 credited writers on this. Two of them, Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, are the creators and showrunners of GLOW.Geneva Robertson-Dworet is credited with the screenplay and I didn't see GLOW in her list of previous work. Gotta link?

I'm normally wary of such a large writing team on a movie, but with Marvel it has worked out in the past, and this group of writers is quite solid. Certainly more so than the ones credited for Spider-Man: Homecoming, and that one turned out just fine regardless. But on this, we've got writers from Guardians of the Galaxy, Inside Out, Tomb Raider and GLOW, plus the directors themselves are also credited as writers, and they have multiple acclaimed films under their belt. It's in good hands, imo.
Anytime. Thanks for clearing that up flick.

You are completely delusional about your demands regarding AOS characters yet again. Get a grip or stop posting because your statements are ridiculous.
Not people, person the usual AOS fan.People expecting Coulson to have a major part I never this or be co-lead (really?) are going to be sorely disappointed. This is Carols movie, through and through, as it should be.
And I am speaking as someone who likes AOS a lot and have watched it from the start.
Well they have 8 months, 4-5 months until the trailer so just have to be patient like Cap said.![]()
Filming has officially finished. Marvel, why don't you celebrate by finally telling us who's playing who? That'd be nice.
If anything I see him being the guy that finds Fury after his eye accident. Why would he be a major deal? Let alone a co-lead.
Even if we're taking AoS as canon, he's at most a high-level field agent at this time (probably less than "high level" too, more middle).
He's likely not going to be in-the-know on the huge stuff. Might be aware of a little broad & general suspicions on the "Fury suspects there's alien stuff out there", maybe even some less-big-deal specifics, but he's not the guy we know from Iron Man & Thor yet. He's not going to be running his own operations & teams into tracking down & securing stuff like Mjolnir.
Combine that with the fact they'll probably be using the de-ageing CG tech on him, and most of that budget's probably going into doing it for Nick/Sam, and I'd be surprised if he's in more than like 3 or 4 scenes here.
More than likely he'll be "the guy Nick sees a lot of potential in, and is just starting to trust him with a few important things here-and-there, gradually grooming him for more responsibility/higher roles" type of thing. Not some junior red-shirt, but still basically Joe Average S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who's showing lots of promise for the future.
nice, I expect trailer to drop somewhere between late August and early September.![]()
