Rules seem fuzzy on this, can’t find a direct answer either way.

Fleck & Boden have co-directed 3 previous films. John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein are another pair. And as mentioned, Lord & Miller another.

Mad about the whole “no trailer” thing, but at least I’d predicted and was prepared for that, lol. The cover is typical EW hideousness but the pics are awesome. Brie and the costume look great. Nice to see Mar-vell in the green suit. Love the confirmation of Monica’s mom, and the call sign is a nice touch. Guess when Monica does join the MCU, she’ll be Photon as a nod to her mom, and not Spectrum.

And yes, the Skrulls bear resemblance to Piccolo but like, on a clearly much bigger budget so I think they look pretty good. *shrug*

And yes, there’s nothing fuzzy about duos in the guilds - you don’t have to be related to be a directing pair. You just have to be partners professionally.

Everything looks great. I guess that those that always complain about origin stories are going to be happy. Glad that Ronan is coming back, I hope he gets adequate screentime. Brie is going to kill it, marvel have never let me down.

Looks so much better than that original shot of her in the green outfit. Hopefully that green outfit also looks as good as this in the film.

See I still think she looks better with the green suit in the group shot than she does in the traditional suit. I don't know why, but for some reason it just looks better to me, but it may be because of the lighting or the way it's framed.

And for the record I like how they look, and they also definitely look like Piccolo

There is a big difference though. Movie Skrulls look like their comic book counterparts. Movie Piccolo looked nothing like manga/anime Piccolo.

I think that’s a pretty sure bet! I mean if she has a young daughter in the 90’s then she’ll be conviently of an age to be Carol’s peer in present day. Seems pretty obvious that’s where they’re headed to me.

Guy in the very back is Rune Temte, I think. Don’t know what specific character he’s playing but when the actor’s name came up I looked him up and bet he’d be playing Kl'rt.

Because the original shot was not an actual shot from the movie lol. It was just some amateur spy set photo. Which is what many of us were saying when everyone freaked out about how “awful” it was.

Personally though, I prefer the more "monkey-like/bat-like" look for the Skrulls myself. Everything else looks on point thought. The CM is amazing and I think Brie herself will do a great job.

Korath, Minn-erva, and Blue Man Group all have sidearms. Carol doesn't. Carol IS the weapon.
