Damn. I just checked my local theater times to see if maybe I could go to one tonight, and there’s 17 different showings tonight. Infinity War only had 7 or 8 as far as I remember for Thursday previews. Was going to wait for Saturday, but I’m def going to catch this tonight.

CM taking place in 95 and being 15 years prior to IM does sync up with Marvel's revised timeline that was released in the Marvel Studios: The First 10 Years book, which has Iron Man taking place in 2010 (and continues to match with a lot of fan made timelines that have had Iron Man in 2010 pretty much since Avengers and Iron Man 3 came out - those are the 'anchor point' movies for a lot of the fan timelines)

Just got back from seeing it with my daughter. Theater was around 70% full (normal for Thursday night openings here of this kind of movie)....I thought it was real good (my daughter loved it) the crowd seemed to like it and have a lot of fun.

Since Homecoming is not considered an origin, I might agree with this. Right now I'm in between this or BP as my fav origin movie. Another screening should clear that up!

Iron Man is my favorite origin story in the MCU, so that is encouraging news.
