So is this "Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds" documentary going to be re-edited eventually to talk about and pay tribute to both of their deaths?

Or maybe it will be incorporated into a new tribute documentary in a few months time.

I am very sorry to hear I lost my mother too 3 months ago and the grief is terrible, but I can't imagine what it must have been for you.

thanks mate. Im sorry for your loss also. I can't speak for you ofcourse but I was extremely close to my mother, a "mumma"s boy" as they call it. Never knew losing someone could be so damn painful. I've had numerous psychological problems since she passed. Can only imagine Carrie fisher's daughter must be feeling something equally as terrible. You always know they're not going to be there forever but when it finally does happen you still don't understand why?. Why you?. Its a horrible pain that will never leave me I feel.sorry again for your loss. Hope your coping ok. Here for a chat if you need it

I worried so much about Debbie after her daughter died. It's horrible that this is how it ends for her. I can just imagine a woman of that age not being able to take the death of one of her children.

God help Carrie's daughter.

I never knew it was possible to die from a broken heart but it is true you know. i knew a family where a son died. he was only in his teens. and about 2 weeks later the mom died bc her heart failed, and she never had any previous health problems. It is really sad :'( Hope Debbie is okay <3

It's rather common among older people, but I wonder if something similar happened to Anna Nicole Smith; she was much younger but I believe after years of drug abuse she ends up dying a year after her son who had been a constant in her life for about 20years.
Apparently Debbie had a stroke but from the statement she released while Carrie was in thr hospital I got the impression that she was very emotional and attached. And her body could only take that loss for 1 day before it gave out.

HBO is moving the Carrie/Debbie documentary, Bright Lights up to air on Jan 7.

If they're moving it up to air next week, I think the only thing they actually can do is create an "In Memory Of" stinger before the credits. They don't have time to film anything else.
