Great choices! Loved Hoffman as Ben, he would be perfect.

Chiklis, Simpson and James are other inspired choices I hadn`t seen before
Thanks, I stole Hoffman from someone. Not sure who.

I have never seen these actors/actresses act, are they good?
Harmon and Banks are amazing. Benson and Hyland have played similar roles. I've only seen Cameron and McNamara in one thing but they were good and look the part.

Sorry, but this is a "no" for me. I don`t feel Lincoln has the necessary presence, aristocratic air or creepiness for the character. And I say this as someone who enjoys him on TWD.

Man, you really like The Walking Dead!:oldrazz:

Jokes aside, I could see him working.
I thought of Reedus first and then when I was looking for someone new for Goblin and thought Lincoln looked the part. Part of me wants Lincoln part of me doesn't.

This one out-of-the-box idea that could actually work. If we are going for over-the-top, ridiculous Mysterio, Carell`s comedic timing might actually come in handy. I would still rather have Carell in a benevolent role, though, I think that`s what he does best.

I think Carell can be over the top and still be menacing when he wants too. He could be a comedic villain until he's apart to lose and becomes dead serious.

Where in either the Spidey universe...or whole Marvel universe would you put the fantastic Alan Rickman? (Bad guy in Die Hard, Sheriff of Nottingham in Kevin Costner's Robin Hood, Professor Snape in Harry Potter series...)

I'd have someone use the reality gem, to get Professor Snape into the MCU and teach Peter potions.

My cast so far

1. Dylan O'Brien - Peter Parker/ Spider-Man

2. Sarah Bolger - Mary Jane Watson

I`m 100% behind this. Great choices so far!

I wonder how Bruce Campbell would be as JJ... :hmm

If Marvel could cast O'Brien, Bolger and Monaghan as Peter, MJ and Harry, they'd have 3 actors who looked like they leapt off the page and have the perfect personalities as well to absolutely embody and own the part. And what's more, they are all around the same age. So if Marvel went much younger, you're not just missing out on one actor for one part, you're missing out on all three.

Dylan O'Brien & Sarah Bolger is a match made in Spider-Heaven

Raven should totally be the casting director.

Definitely. And she's quite bubbly and charming too, so it's not just that one of them would be funny but both of them, and they could have great chemistry together.

Cameron Monaghan looks like Harry leapt off the comic book pages!
I swear, if we could get Dylan, Sarah and Cameron, we could have the comic book characters come to fricking life! :D LITERALLY the perfect cast.
Marvel needs to go for this opportunity.

If Marvel signed those three actors, I could probably forgive any other casting of the other Spidey characters even if they aren't as perfect as I would like them to be.

I still want Anton Yelchin to play spidey, he seems like the perfect guy if he has a big role in Civil War. He has the nerdiness that would make him a better Parker than Garfield, but the silliness/one-liners that could make him as great of a spiderman as andrew Garfield.
Not to mention he's worked with Robert Downey Jr. before, having him as a sort of role model, like he would be in Civil War. (In Charlie Bartlet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUA7KFjpvoI )

Anyone else think he might be good for the role? Last I've seen he looks pretty young, and his voice is the right pitch.

We can't have a Peter Parker who looks like is already losing his hair. Especially for someone who is supposed to be still in high school.

Aaron Paul for Eddie Brock

Jackie Earle Haley for Cletus Cassidy

Not sure I like Bolger as MJ

Why not? She looks as close to a real-life classic John Romita MJ as you can probably get:

She has a similar shaped face and radiant smile, and she also has the dimples and the slight cleft on her chin just as JR draws her. She just needs the classic bangs now and she'd look perfect. She also has the perfect bubbly personality to match.

And she can definitely do the model thing:

You can see her in an interview here too where you can see her charming and vivacious personality:

I don't know who I'd rather have, she just doesn't scream MJ to me

Phoebe Tonkin or Holland Roden. But my number one choice is still Lyndsy Fonseca. Sucks that she's on Agent Carter.
