Tom Hanks is a brilliant casting choice for Norman Osborn! Great idea Eddie Dean!

:funny:

He did say he wants to be involved in a superhero movie in some fashion, whether it's him being the hero or villain.

I always thought of him as Doc Ock when it came to being a villain, though.

What's happy go lucky Hanks done to ever make you think he could pull off crazy Goblin? :hmm

How great would it be for America's Dad to turn on the evil and become Norman Osborn? You know he could pull it off.

Rosie Mac for MJ? That phone cover...

How about Richard Armitage as Kraven? BOTFA showed he can play crazy/intense very well, besides just really looking great for the part.

Id absolutely love if it went to Scott Adkins hed absolutely kill it, but overall theres alot of good choices

When they do Green Goblin again, I want him to be a truly frightening and scary looking figure . Imo, the Ultimates design is a bit too much with the cape and gargoyle type body , but if they do go with a mask of some sort ,I want them to make his face look more frightening and demonic as opposed to the silly Dafoe mask. I want his eyes and mouth to move .If they go the ASM 2 route of no mask, they should truly make his face scary and not the cheesy make up job they did in that film. Visually I guess i'm thinking of Smaug's face in the Hobbit films. Not that he should look like a dragon but the way Jackson was able to give his eyes and mouth expressions which made him seem almost human. I would also like his voice to sound deep and creepy as opposed to the Wicked Witch high pitched sound of the films and cartoons.

All and All , I would like GG to be a character who would be like something out of a nightmare, and a truly frightening image to encounter as opposed to something that the audience would laugh at or roll their eyes to. If they could do that, that would be truly awesome in my book. The GG character is great, its just that they've never captured it well visually on screen imo and have

For Goblin's costume, I'd like to see him wear a silicone mask with some CGI added to make it look as best as possible. I wouldn't mind having a green armored suit like in Raimi and Webb's films, even in the comics it looks like he wears one, but they should definitely put a cut-up, worn and torn hooded purple cloak over it.

A mix between this and this I suppose.

Seeing as Marvel already cast some of MOS' leaving cast, it could be really neat if they looked at Michael Shannon for Norman:

He has the right look (Especially in Iceman, as they made him look kinda older than he really is), and he even has the laugh:

He was in it for like two seconds. I'm sure they could use him again.

What happened to this thread? Figured I would bump it, plus I have a few casting ideas.

Tom Holland as Peter/Spider-Man

Gabriel Basso as Harry Osborn

Michael C Hall as Norman

Madeleine Stowe is 56. She's old enough to be Aunt May, especially now Revenge has finished. She'll be 58 by the time 2017 rolls around.

Plus he used an accent and was clean shaven--Kraven---not clean shaven. LOL.

Tucker Smallwood as Robbie--he was born to play him.

Hmm, MCH would actually be a pretty good choice for Norman!

Anyone who's watched Dexter knows he can literally make the goblin 'grin' face. And can do very serious and menacing

and if we were getting an older Spider-man, my god Alexandra Daddario would be the perfect MJ

edit: she can play a high schooler, right?? :woot:

Rosemary Harris as JJ
I believe there’s a news reporter in all of us that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble, and finally allows us to die with pride. Even though sometimes we have to be steady and give up the thing we want the most. Even our dreams.
