I don't think they even need to say he was held back a year. People the same age look different ages, as we've even seen between Asa, Tom and Charlie. It could also be because of his experiences which have taken their toll on him (ie all the family problems). These things can age a person.

Look at Lindsay Lohan and her party lifestyle. She's only in her 20s and looks like she's in her 40s. Harry wouldn't be as extreme, of course, but not living healthily can have that effect on someone.

And Monaghan doesn't even look that old when you see him on film compared to photos. In Gotham he still seemed quite young.

Good point. Monaghan is a great choice. .when I saw the Giver in theatres I thought to myself, this guy would make a great Harry!

again i doubt most of the midtown guys be pigeon holed to 16-19 yrs old for them. WE likely will see mj/gwen/harry/flash/kong/liz if its really rowe or holland at 19 yrs old. They will likely be a bit more looser and maybe 2 yrs younger maybe 2 yrs older them rowe/holland. So i still say 17-22 range is very likely to be a option.

On Harry, I haven't ever seen Basso act, so I can't comment. If he can pull off creepy as well as Monaghan, he'd be fine.

On Colin Firth, I don't know, I'd rather see him in a benevolent role. Maybe Dr. Connors. For Dr. Octavious/Doc Ock, I'd suggest the rather sinister Jared Harris:

I'd like to see Harry as the Goblin again, in time. For now, we're better off without him, I say. But I feel Harry's arc isn't complete until he has become the Goblin.

Waltz is a wonderful actor for a villain, I've just become somewhat tired of seeing him as such. And if he must play a villain, I'd rather see him as someone like The Jackal, for which his mannerisms would be better suited (he'd also make a great Joker, if the role had not already been cast). I haven't thought about a benevolent role for him, though I mentioned I'd like to see it. It's just that I enjoyed his turn in Django Unchained so much, I'd like to see something like that again.

Wonderful idea with Cruise. It would be like Redford. And to be fair, there's absolutely nothing more enjoyable than seeing Robert Redford say "Hail Hydra"

I'd like just plain evil Doc Ock too. We've had him being redeemed, let's just have him be outright evil this time around.

The sort of ultimately MCU villain for Cruise would be Norman Osborn, though I like the idea of Matthew McCougnhey more. I think Cruise would do more of a one shot villain role like Redford then sign up for multiple films.
