Kevin Bacon would be awesome but at 56, I think maybe his ship has sailed. Especially if they end up moving forward with the Dark Reign storyline which could be years down the line. Someone like Wilson or McConaughey fits better for that situation. Especially since I think it'd be better to have Norman a bit younger than Stark, rather than older.

Watts already used his Kevin Bacon voucher for Cop Car, it's only good for one movie...

We are more then likely to see a few big names in some key roles. Just to great viewers on board. And I def want a big name for norman and someone who can or will be open to multi films and appear across the mcu.

For me it's all dependent will felicia be on par with peter age or if she is a few yrs older. Ie if peter is 15 or 16. Thst she is 19 to 20. I don't want her to be to much older then peter. But I wouldn't want her to be a "kid".

That's actually a really brilliant idea. I'm just wondering if we'll get to see Black Cat this time around or not. It wouldn't surprise me if we get to see her though.

She was also a former dancer and gymnast, so she'd be believable in the role.

That would be neat, but I maintain that we're likely going to get a proper adaptation of Mary Jane this time around, albeit probably drawing more from the Ultimate version than the original 616 MJ.

There is so many spidey side characters I hope we will see in the solos and across the mcu now in x tv or other films. So many haven't seen the light of day.

I don't doubt that at all. I'd just personally rather have Felicia as his love interest and Mj as a friend for now. I've always loved the MJ/Felicia dynamic

It definitely is, at least in regards to how a lot of fans here want to see things play out. However considering Spider-Man's popularity, it's obvious that Marvel and Sony want him to be part of the MCU films rather than a show, even if Daredevil has proven itself to be incredibly successful.

As I've been saying over in the MJ thread, it's important to realize that films work differently than comics or shows. There's a lot less time to introduce characters and develop a lot of things, so it's usually best to keep things concise and focused.

I wrote a whole outline for a season a while back, Spidey is one of those characters that just suits the medium perfectly

Obviously it would never happen, but it's a nice what if scenario

The budget would be monstrous but I agree. It would work much better. More small scale and personal could work for spidey. Culminate in a daredevil/spidey/punisher cross over mini series. Jesus
