I do realise he's a bit too dark for it.
Love this thread! Specially MarvelComix's casting challenges. Some of my dream casting choices: Clancy Brown as Thanos. After watching Carnivale I knew he'd be perfect for Thanos. Lake Bell as Jennifer Walters. I think she was born to play her. She's both gorgeous & tough. Nathan Fillion as Hank Pym. 'nuff said. Kristen Bell as Janet Van Dyne. A fantastic actress with great range & spunk, I think if cast she would pretty much own the role. The superb Alexander Skarsgard as Balder/Donald Blake. I figured Balder's absence in Thor indicates they're going the "Blake is Balder" route. Val Kilmer as MODOK. What can I say? It'd be great to see Kilmer's androidish mug in MODOK form. Bruce Greenwood as Reed Richards. Bruce Greenwood IS Reed Richards. Abbie Cornish as Sue Storm. Terrific actress. Joe Manganiello as Hercules. The guy looks mythical! I'd love to see him & Hemsworth clash. Ryan Kwanten as Johnny Storm. Can't think of a better fit.
Holt McCallany - The Punisher

Oscar Isaac - Doctor Strange

Charlie Day - Eric O'Grady

Rain - Shang-Chi

The whole point of this thread seems to be posting pictures...which I'm too lazy to do right now.
Still, beefing up the Avengers cast:
Ant-Man / Ultron (voice)- Nathan Fillion
Wasp- Kristen Bell
Vision- Doug Jones
Wonderman- John Hamm
Scarlet Witch- Olivia Wilde
Ms. Marvel- Yvonne Strahovski
Baron Zemo- Christoph Waltz
Enchantress- Alice Eve
The Executioner- Glenn "Kane" Jacobs (Please don't give me the No Wrestlers! argument...Skurge is a hulking thug who needs to be played by someone large.)
Kang / Immortus- Liam Neeson
I've never been good at casting...
- Clancy Brown would make a fitting Thanos.
- I've thought about Jennifer Carpenter for She-Hulk, but after seeing Lake Bell's Maxim photoshoot, her body couldn't have convinced me further that she'd make an excellent She-Hulk. Plus she's very funny.
- Nathan Fillion is good as Ant-Man. Though I like Colin Ferguson after watching Eureka.
- Kristen Bell doesn't do it for me that much. She's better off in comedy land. But I've been partial to actresses like Autumn Reeser and Ginnifer Goodwin.
- I think Mr. Fantastic can be middle-aged, but not to the point where he doesn't have the right physique. Then again, I don't know much about Bruce Greenwood at all. But everyone has been partial to Alexis Denisoff. Seeing as he and Matt Dillon - my choice for Thing - are in the same age bracket, it wouldn't hurt.
- Ryan Kwanten is perfect for Johnny Storm, but maybe 10 years ago. Let's try someone in their late 20's-early 30's.
All around great picks. I could easily see Charlie as Eric O'Grady. His character in IASIP (you know the abbreviation) is somewhat similar to the character. But I'm holding out for him to play Weasel in a Deadpool movie.
- Already gone over about Ant-Man and Wasp.
- Jon Hamm may be too old and not built right.
- I've stated before, I'd like someone with a more authoritative voice play Ms. Marvel, like Kristanna Loken. Yvonne would make a great Mockingbird, but what do I know?
- Alice Eve can pull out surprises. Especially in She's Out of My League. Who knows, she could slay as Enchantress.
- I see you borrowed my pick for Kang/Immortus.
Anthony Montgomery from Enterprise is Falcon
Rebecca Herbst is the Wasp. One of the best little know actresses out there and she's the spitting image of the wasp I grew up with and the new cartoon version.
Sersi is one of the Girls from Alphas.
Same for Rogue. Forget their names right now.
Tyson Beckford from Into the Blue is my Black Panther
X-23 is Heather Hemmens from Hellcats. I saw her in an independant movie before and she's a better actress than you would think and she has the physical abilities to pull off a character like X-23
Storm is Denise Vasi. I liked her in The Good Guy.
I have to dissagree about Weatherly being too old for Iceman. He should be the same age as the rest of the original team and he matches the other actors choosen. If any thing my Jean Grey is a little young but I like her for the part.

Iceman was raised in a non-religious home. His mother his Jewish, but his father is Irish Catholic.- Here's the deal: Iceman is the youngest of the original team. His present-day age should be around his 20's to 30's. For me, I like Shia LaBeouf as Iceman. I've restated many times that he's the right height, can play cocky and jokey, and is Jewish. JUST LIKE ICEMAN!
