probably one of the coolest casts I've ever seen. I've been doing an
X-Men for CBM.com, but you should upload this one to that site to give me some inspiration and drive to match yours.
- Colin Firth as Professor X (Why?)
- Patrick Wilson as Cyclops (Excellent!)
- Emily Blunt as Jean Grey (I see her more as Scarlet Witch, but that's me.)
- Josh Brolin as Wolverine (Josh might be too old for Wolverine. Still, I could be wrong, who knows?)
- Naomie Harris as Storm (Can't go wrong wit' that!)
- Andy Serkis as Beast (He would be good for the movements of Beast, but I feel more comfortable with a voice actor to go with that. What do you think of Kiefer Sutherland.)
- Joe Mazello as Iceman (Tim Murphy, eh?)
- Mike Vogel as Angel (A tough one here, because even though Mike was gonna play Angel before Ben Foster stepped in, I haven't seen him in anything that would make him eligible for the role of a world-famous CEO of a company. I think he'd work as Iceman, but that's me talking. What do you think of Trevor Donovan as Angel; he plays a similar role on
90210.)
- Jaime Bell as Nightcrawler (After seeing
Tintin this past Wednesday, Jaimie seems more suited for a "Disney Character Gone Twisted" character like Nightcrawler than psycho killer Pyro.)
- Anna Kendrick as Shadowcat and Jared Padalecki as Colossus (Unless your
X-Men universe takes place during the current comic book universe, you may need younger blood. For the younger versions, I like Liam Hemsworth/Armie Hammer as Colossus, and Ashley Rickards/Olivia Thirlby for the roles, at least for the younger and older versions. Even though I'm planning to use Hammer and Thirlby for my cast, but oh well. Your picks are fine enough!)
- Abbie Cornish as Rogue (Well, if it weren't for
Sucker Punch, I'd be against this choice.)
- Sean Bean as Magneto (Sounds fair.)
- Olga Kurylenko as Mystique (Call me nuts, but isn't Mystique of American heritage?)
- Charlie Day as Toad (Ho! Amazing! I prefer him as Weasel for a
Deadpool movie, but you've struck gold.)
- Josh Holloway as Sabretooth (Even if he had a sociopathic attitude in
Lost, Holloway never struck me as a serial killer. Plus, we need a brick ****house at 6'6". Holloway's a good pick for Ghost Rider, while I somehow lean towards Dolph Lundgren as Sabretooth. Why? Watch
Universal Soldier and
The Expendables, and come back to me in the morning.)
By the way, where'd you get the shots of the X-Men, may I ask? I find generic pics on these other sites.
