Casting the DC Universe - Part 1

For me, Michael B Jordan is too young to play Stewart, the character is an experienced military figure and based on the fact, everybody appears to be 'aged up' slightly in this universe, to keep up in the company with an 'older' WW, Bats and Supes, I feel an actor in their late 30's or early 40's would be needed.

I have been away for a while. Would anyone be kind enough to relate (1) whether Green Lantern in whatsoever form is supposed to be a presence in this movieverse, and (2) whether we will at least be spared from Hal Jordan if so?

Hal and John are going to share the spotlight in the DCEU

Yeah, I feel going with just Hal will remind people of the disaster that was Green Lantern (2011). So bringing in at least Stewart would be cool. At the end we have Guy and comic fans get a chuckle and the audience gets a chuckle for yet another GL of Earth. Then in the sequel we could get introduced Parallax and maybe Kyle. Having Hal go bad would be pretty epic. Then again, they could save that for a third film. Have the fourth be about the multi-colored Lanterns out there? Hrm. So many possibilities to go with.

Movie 1: Star Sapphire or Starro...?
Movie 2: Sinestro and/or Star Sapphire creating their own corps. Blue Lanterns help GL Corps.
Movie 3: Sinestro and Parallax.
Movie 4: Red Lanterns as main threat and the other Lantern Corps. popping up in full.
Movie 5: Black Lanterns and the White Lantern.

What I'd like to see, anyway. Green Lantern Corps. sequels could have fitting names, like Brightest Day, Emerald Knights, Parallax, [Insert Red Lantern title that I can't think of. Lol!] and then Blackest Night.

I say hold off on Kyle for a while, either for a sequel trilogy (if we're dreaming here) ala Rey in TFA, or the third movie ala 'John Blake' in TDKR.

The guy to play Kyle is probably not even an actor yet so I'm not gonna bother casting him.

I think you'll take heat for these, but I could be ok with either of these.

Everyone has.

And with that said, even Amy Adams suffered being on Smallville for an episode.

Aquaman was not Ritchson's fault, it was WB/CW's. He does fine in voice over work, as he's the current Raphael in the TMNT movies, and he did fine as Aquaman in the New Frontier DTV. He also showed a bit of promise in comic movie type action in Hunger Games Catching Fire in a bit part.

All of that, while still minor, is better than Welling.
