I used to fan cast Michael Pitt as Riddler in Nolan's Batman based off the character's look in Azzarello's Joker.

Probably not the most popular look, especially now after SS Joker, but I'd still back Pitt on this one.

I'd be happy with Pitt as Joker but I just like Goggins more. Maybe because he's got more of a comedic background. Plus... that smile.

I'm down for Goggins or Gyllenhaal. I think both would look similar enough to Leto in the makeup that it wouldn't be an issue

You aren't wrong at all. Walton Goggins would be amazing . He even plays a killer that laughs all the time in American Ultra, lol. I just, I don't know.... I remember ever since I saw him in Bully that I wanted Michael Pitt to be the next Joker. I just get the right kind of vibe from him, like he's capable of a performance that would make Ledger proud. It's not like he doesn't have the smile, either :

Yeah, I'm not arguing Pitt wouldn't work. I imagine he'd make an eccentric Joker work in a way Leto couldn't (though, apparently, he's total ******* to work with).

Another thing I like about Goggins is that he's older. Makes sense with a 40 year old Batman.

I think Martin Wallström would look right in the makeup as well. He reminds me of some sort of fusion of Leto and Mads Mikkelsen, lol.

If I could do any change it would be only adding Flash and Aquaman. No cyborg or Green Lantern. I think there characters are hard to pull off and i think 5 main characters is a lot, already. 7 heroes in a team up just seems like you can't help but lose some character development.
