I finally saw the two pics of Quicksilver. The first one was not attractive but the 2nd one, the close-up pic looks better. He has white hair w/c is good! The styling of the hair looks terrible but they are in the 70s, anyway.

By next summer,Pietro and Wanda may no longer be mutants or Magneto's children. Marvel's ret-conned the twins origins before, so I certainly wouldn't put it past Quesada and company to "tweak" the twins comic book origin to better match up with Whedon's vision.

I really don't get this. If Marvel really is this vindictive (I hope they're not!) it's just sad, the X-men films post the Marvel Studios films have been treated like the red-headed stepchildren.

I don't bash other franchises like in a daily basis. My negative thoughts about GOTG has nothing to do with Marvel Studios. You don't see me being negative about Iron Man 3 and my low-box-office predictions for the upcoming Marvel movies has something to do about their release date not because I'm trying to negative.

Mr. Dent has always been negative about the X-Men and everytime someone talked about X-Men's Quicksilver, he always brought up that Aaron guy from Kick-Ass (its not even confirmed if he's playing Quicksilver or not) and MCU being better about everything. Then when I told him that if really wants to compare the cast of DOFP and Avengers 2, I asked him who won more awards, he couldn't say anything back. He's just negative all the time. And then when I say something not so positive about the X-Men, he'll try to defend X-Men/FOX as if he's not a Fox hater.

well stop the consant hating on X-Men in the X-Men's own boards then.So It's ok to bash X-Men films all the time but someone can't critize Marvel studios ever.

I kinda don't get why you'd put Quicksilver in the Avengers anyways... I'm not trying to be negative, I know he was in quite a few Avengers comics and all, but theirs other characters they could use that would benefit a little more, and they could use the [other] character to the full, and not have to leave out little details of said character, like that his father is Magneto, and he's a mutant, etc. Doesn't make complete sense...

Sorry to bring up Avenger Quicksilver.

That said, I dig the character and hope for the best of both iterations. Although I wouldn't be upset if Whedon changes his mind and decides to use different characters in the spot of Quicksilver/Scarlet Witch.

So is Evan Peters wearing a wig? I really can't tell. I can't wait for the HD trailer. Pumped for DOFP!

Also I think it would be kinda cool to see his hair gradually turn silver/white throughout the film. Maybe by the end of it look similar to the Quicksilver from the comics. Although I really don't mind his style from the pics shown.

Really hope they do something special with Pietro's FX though.

Accept I've said numerous time DOFP is my number 2 most anticipated 2014 movie behind GOTG.

I'm sorry if I don't praise everything that comes out and don't hold my tongue from criticism. I don't care what board this is. I said IM3 was a disappointment in the IM3 bored. I said TASM2 doesn't look like it can hold a candle to DOFP, Cap 2, and GOTG in the TASM2 bored despite Spider-Man being my favorite character, and I was accused of being Bryan Singer/X-Men/Fox bias there.

People need to get over their sensitive feelings over people criticising their favorite ****. The only reason I call you a Fox fanboy/girl/ameba/whateveryouare is because you admit yourself to being one. Don't twist my criticism of the way Fox is handling FF and the fact they've put out 10 ****** CBMs as indication I'm generically Fox hating and sucking on Feige's toes.

There's really no reason to bring up Avenger's portrayal of Quicksilver since we haven't even seen MCU's version of Quicksilver and its not like FOX's portrayal of Quicksilver is going to affect the story/quality of AAOU. You just can't stop comparing FOX to MCU.

And even if Quicksilver's look in DOFP doesn't look the best, it doesn't mean his role would suck too. Look at Man of Steel, visually, it looked spectacular (though I don't like the coloring of the film), but as a film, it didn't even get a fresh rating in RT.

And you pretty much criticized X-Men everytime you get a chance, like for an example I made a comment in Quicksilver's thread in Avengers 2 section about his costume, and I said that the Ultimate look would work. Then below my post was your post and you mentioned X-Men and how awful the costumes looked in the X-Men movies. No one was talking about X-Men in that thread but a big X-Men fan like me posted there and you had to post a comment like that.

And calling myself a Fox fanboy is a joke! The joke is on you if you don't get that.

I've just seen the pictures and think it's impossible to say anything sensible about how he's going to be portrayed based only on those 2 pictures.

The only thing we know for certain is that Quicksilver in DOFP will have a smaller role than in AOU. Automatically, people assume that's why Johnson's Quicksilver will be the better character, because he has more time for development. But to me, a side character is not necessarily inferior or worse to a main character. Or: how a side character is used differs from how a main character is used in a movie, so comparing them may not mean anything. If fans demand every fact or every relevant family member of every side character to be included in a movie, than things would get too convoluted and messy. If they get the essence of the character (btw his essence is not the presence of Scarlet Witch) right, than I'll be happy.

I do find it very disgusting how some people on ************** are calling him 'fat'. Seriously.... it's like J. Law's forum on IMDB.

Considering the fact that the things you've said criticizing the character in Days of Future Past is based on two images taken from bootleg footage, you'll have to get over your sensitive feelings about your own posts when people call you out on how ridiculous and laughable it is that you seem to think you can garner so much based on what we've been given.

Feel free to not like the way the character looks. I'm not sure I do. But that's what you have. You've got nothing else.
