As for the 70s well magneto as an outfit, but it looks like they will mostly be in casual wear, and quicksilver is likely in what's considered casual wear for him (at least in this film), I still think bryan singer done it for the silver effect that will come from the jacket personally but we will see

Whedon forgot WWII had big impact on Rogers, but also on Erik? Magneto isn't young, he's 80+yo today, it's bad idea to give Maximoffs as teenagers in present day.

Lol I wear sneakers and I'm not a teenager, his outfit is practical to me. I'm sure somewhere through the movie he'll be given a suit. Maybe one designed by Hank, that would be cool. I'm just guessing though.

They could be similar characters, but I doubt that was Bryan intention since day one.

Quicksilver being Magneto's son, Wanda brother and a iconic brotherhood member are reasons more than enough to get interested in him.

And Im sure Bryan saw an opportunity there, and not only for Dofp, but for the long term.

But is he going to be Magneto's son in this Movie? Magneto seems way too young to be his dad. Will they even have a connection, or is he just going to be someone that Magneto picked up?

Magneto isn't to young to be his dad, to say he isn't falls into that place of well we didn't see it happen so it couldn't have happened, just because in FC he was off looking for shaw doesn't mean his life started there from that point on , and if quicksilver is a teen it's about right he could be 15 which means knock 10 years off FC to DOFP and knock another 5 years off

Its easy to work out, and it's not unknown for young guys to get a girl pregnant

I think its likely they are related and that's why xavier and co recruit quicksilver in the first place, maybe they hope his son being there will have some effect on magneto, I doubt it will just a random we need a fast mutant recruit

While Fassbender is technically 10 years older than Peters, Fassbender can easily play older as Peters can play younger so that the relationship works. And considering the Maximoff/Lensherr relationship is exclusive to Fox, I don't see them not using it, especially since Marvel Studios can't outright use it.

Well we know quicksilver is a teenager on this film, and I assume he is a teenager because they wanted to make it believable that he could be magnetos son, because if they had no intension of doing it then they didn't need to make him a teenager

That would be my guess too. It's likely Xavier and Co. show up to the Maximoff home and they're out of their within minutes. I doubt a teenage Pietro is going to run into his room and take out the Quicksilver costume. In the Comic Con videos, Brian jokes how he had forgotten how ugly the clothes were in the 70s, so some of the outfits shouldn't come as a surprise. I'm sure it will all look fine in the film.

Lol I like the silver jacket, I definitely would wear it. I'm guessing maybe a tye dye shirt jeans and some converse would be better? I do agree with Singer,the 70s didn't have the best fashions.

I think it's the cheap hair dye job I'm more concerned about. I think I would've been ok with the actor's normal blonde hair, stylized.

Again, I'm sure with the lighting and filters the film will be using, his hair will look fine.
