When I meant they blew up in his face I meant he caught them near his face, so yeah, next to his head and parallel.

His running was also incredible. I got chills seeing him run in the trailer, but seeing in the theater was also incredible. His speed and ferocity are just unparalleled in film adapted superhero.

African royals don't play about.

I liked that his presence and autorithy was a bit low key, more fitting for a prince than a king, and that it seems to grow trough the movie.

Of course I hope the team stays together, but if the Avengers eventually have to do without Iron Man, Cap, Widow and Thor, I can see T'Challa, Pym and Strange having a cool dynamic.

I really can't wait to see T'Challa in all of his glory especially when it comes to his solo origin film because in CW that was like his coming out party but BP film will be his movie where he stands on his own and I think he will carry his solo film with ease

He just[blackout] became king and he's going to be dealing with a lot, probably tied to the recent change his father started of more actively joining the world community, after the events of Sokovia[/blackout] ... So probably love shouldn't really be on his radar right now.

Chadwick Boseman Went Method For Black Panther In CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR


In a recent interview to promote Captain America: Civil War, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige revealed that Chadwick Boseman did a bit of method acting as well to get into character for Black Panther. He might not have gone as far as the Dallas Buyers Club actor, but apparently he had a very specific process while on set.
“For the entire run of the production, he spoke in that accent, whether he was on camera or not,” says Feige. “He’s that kind of actor, he has a very specific process. It’s very intense performance.”
As anyone who’s seen Civil War can attest to, Boseman’s incredible in the role of Black Panther and brings the character to life perfectly. Along with Spidey he’s one of the best parts about the film and I think that we can all agree that Marvel made the right choice in casting the actor.
And now, with the hero’s solo film starting to heat up and casting news coming in at an alarming rate, we’re even more excited to see how Black Panther will continue to evolve in the ever changing Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Seems Boseman is another casting coup for Marvel, they get it so spot on most of the time and Boseman was just awesome as BP.

I had heard so much about the rumor of Michael B Jordan as T'Challa that I permanently stamped him in my mind until I heard that Bosman was a done deal. I wasn't disappointed then, .. and oh boy am I not disappointed now. Bosman is a natural. he didn't seemed forced, and you could follow his eyes into his thoughts, whether it was revenge or justice.

He calmly and impressively brought a African-centric tone and lingo accent, a courageous charisma and passionate to the T'Challa character.

and then there's the Black Panther costume and the display of his abilities, that no question brought some impressive appeal and intrigue to the entire character, IMO.
