Here's an interesting thought about Peter and Nikki. What if after he meet Nikki he develops another, more aggressive personality that ends up with him being at odds with Nathan and some of the other heroes.

Well according to the online comic it was Sylar who exploded because they had not saved Claire but now that Claire has been saved I am going to stab and say they are going to stop the explosion.

Especially since in an interview Kring said now that they had saved Claire saving the world was next.

Claire was killed by Sylar. Sylar was the exploding man, blew up, and regenerated since he had taken Claire's power. FutureHiro went back in time, appeared on the subway and told Peter to "Save the cheerleader, save the world." Peter, as we know, saved Claire. So they've stopped Sylar from killing Claire (so far), but they haven't prevented the explosion, and that is what FutureHiro is trying to do.

I hope not. It would raise even further questions about Niki's power. I'm of the belief that Niki has super-strenght, and Jessica has the ability to transfer her conciousness into different bodies. If that's the case, then Peter wouldn't develop a new personality.

If Peter does develop a new personality, it throws that all out of whack, and further complicates things.

It's possible Peter is just hardened by all the crap that happens in the future. Look at Future Hiro.

why would syler need to regenerate anything?

the original nuclear man (forget his name) has never hurt himself from creating any nuclear energy, why would creating an explosion be any different?

and, i guess this is as good a place to ask as any: with peter finally meeting syler in .07, has he taken all of his powers as well now?

That was the second time Peter met Sylar I guess you did not notice that Sylar said to Peter "I remember you"
