Chapters 60/61 - "Orientation/Jump, Push, Fall" - Sept. 21

Has heroes always been croped? Never really notied till now.

All widescreen NBC shows have been, if you don't have a widescreen TV.

Sylar's new role in this season is the best part so far. And Peter's actually being kinda cool for once.

I have really enjoyed Peter so far this premiere. I hope he doesn't change back into the emo d-bag that he was before. Sylar is pretty sweet too.

The whole season preview looks pretty great. Really looking forward to see where they go with things this season.

I'm liking Peter and Robert Knepper's stories so far. Nothing else really interests me.

I feel that Peter, Claire, and Sylar's acting has inproved a bit this season.

Season 2 and 3 both started out great but got progressively worse as time went on. I hope this season doesnt follow in that pattern. I didnt think this premier was all that great. It was pretty mediocore. Not bad, but nothing to brag about. Maybe this one will start off low and get better as time goes on

I have to be honest and say Matt vs Sylar is way more interesting then I thought it would be. It's definitely more interesting then Sylar's actual subplot with Nathan and everything.

Peter has finally grown into a real hero. It's really satisfying to see that.

The villains are intriguing too, especially Robert Knepper's character. I only hope the actual scheme they're hatching is worth the build up so far.

Everything else is kinda meh though. I also hope this is the first season that picks up as it goes along because its off to a slow start compared to seasons 2-3.

The only subplot that really bores me thus far is Claire's stint at college, trying to figure out who murdered her room mate. That and the Tracy plot of her return and trying to find herself. As much as I'm a fan of both of the ladies, I'm not thrilled with their storylines.

I'm strictly at wait-and-see but I loved the majority of the start of this season. Season 3's start was an utter mess in my opinion. There's potential to be minded if they handle it well enough.

I liked the premiere, I really like the direction they're taking Peter, good stuff so far and a good setup for the season!!!:awesome::up:

The Sylar/Matt storyline reminds of the Onslaught storyline from the X-Men comics.

thought the claire at college thing was pretty forced...just a way for her to expose her powers to gretchen. beyond that it was amazing! sylars character is already much less annoying since he is reduced to just dialogue. sylar has always gotten the best lines...now we can enjoy them. Peter was more-or-less spiderman without webs, living in a crap apartment and listening to police scanners...but i loved it!

p.s. liked the little "heroes for hire" line...since Ray park wants to be iron fist :)

The circus thus far just really intrigues me. Something that it didn't do in the previews. I do like Knepper's leader role and how he protects and shares/uses his group to do for their needs.

^agreed, and he (on the surface at least) seems to genuinely care for them... all of the carnival characters were very interesting. excited to learn about tattoo girl online next week.

Wow, I had no expectations for this season after being dissapointed with the last season (while I in no means hated it like some people on here) but this was very good. It seems like they actually are sticking to the regular people with extrordinary powers theme(as opposed to connected families, power serums, prophecies etc.). And while the premiere was sorta slow, I did find myself investing in the characters more and I thought the writing was great. I especially can't wait for what lies ahead with the carnies.

I think the premiere went really well tonight. Ray Park and the other cast additions bring a fresh feel to the series. Now that I think about it, the college thing did seem a little forced by a didn't mind it too much. I don't know about everyone else but I just want to see them "do stuff" if you know what I mean. Yes, my interest with Claire and been dumbed down to that.

I'm glad to see Peter back as the Peter we all remember. He's finally got a grip on life and is making the right moves. I also thought that the fight/effects for his fight with Ray Park's character was executed very well. Glad to see the super speed being used again. Lydia seems to be an interesting character. She has that dynamic where she seems like she has different ideals and what not even though we haven't heard her speak out much so far.

Parkman/Sylar was pure awesomeness. Will Tracy Strauss and HRG get it on this season!?!?

So, who else thinks the other friend had something to do with original roommates death?
