Chapters 60/61 - "Orientation/Jump, Push, Fall" - Sept. 21

I like how the entire military and government seems to have just said 'Eh, whatever' and moved on with their lives, despite all of the not easily cover-up-able **** that went down last season.

I don't get why the Haitian can't erase the Sylar memories, especially since the Nathan ones have been installed???

otherwise great opening

I'm watching the premiere right now on Hulu. Its still pretty bad. Better than season 3, but still bad. Claire has become a walking ad-placement and the college plot is as detatched and boring as every Claire subplot. Parkman's Sylar personality is just absurd as is the whole Nathan thing. If only the writers had balls to kill the two characters. The fact that they didn't have the balls to kill Sylar is only underlined by what a great villain Knepper is, yet you know it is inevitable that he will be killed by Sylar to make Sylar seem more B.A.. I don't get why the writers are scared to take risks. Danko, Adam, and now Knepper's character have all been great, yet they are always overshadowed by the ridiculous return of Sylar. Every volume is the same. Sylar is seemingly disabled, but then he's back, kills old villain and becomes the big bad. Until Heroes breaks formula, its going to continue its decline...sadly I don't think it'll make it past November sweeps so it may all be moot.

Also, I know its a consistent problem, but I'm still impressed at the way this show can not even stay consistent within itself.

Hiro: I'm dying. Its unfortunate that I have not saved the life of someone whose blood can heal anything wrong with me. Wait a tick, I do, but instead of going for the most obvious solution, I'm going to do something ridiculously complex that defies logic.

Story of Heroes, oi.

But its not all bad. The Noah/Peter plot isn't bad, but its almost an afterthought.

Sylar is a great character but his list of kills is astronomical. However Danko and Adam were killed by a different bad guy and used for the purpose of making them seem more badass. Sylar either becomes the main bad or overshadows the other characters , it's definately not helping the show.
