I'd like that to happen, but I think they are way too big of character's to put in the same movie.

I mean if Oscorp does have something to do with Peter's parents death's, then it would be appropriate for Norman Osborn to be featured as the main villain. Though I suppose a minor villain could still be included.

If they put a minor villain with the Green Goblin, whoever it is, it has to make sense! Not like Sandman & Venom, they don't have anything to do with eachother story wise, character wise, anything, but suddenly in the final battle they're working together without any good explanation? what a cop out... "together he doesn't stand a chance" that's a "child playing with toys" level explanation!

I understand where you're coming from, but the GG is a must because he's Spider-Man's arch-nemesis. I'm sure the GG will be a lot different from Raimi's, so it won't feel as repetitive to have the same villain from a previous trilogy.

Building Norman's character and story in the sequel would be good, before becoming the Goblin the third. Hell, he could be responsible for another villains inclusion. Like if Peter starts heckling him about his parents and he hires an assassin type villain to get rid of him. Spider-Man then becoming a problem also and a more powerful villain is included, or the villain after Peter originally is granted powers. So many possibilities!

I definitely want them to build up Eddie Brock. He needs to be a character that we get to know before he turns into Venom.

My thoughts exactly, except for Mysterio. I never thought of having Mysterio as the villain in the fourth. But that could work.

Mysterio could definitely be used as a major villain, imo. He could really act like Spidey's own version of Scarecrow. Heck, Raimi wanted to give a villain like Vulture some time in a film, and Mysterio would only be better.

We've only had just one REAL Goblin character, and that was ten years ago. Having Green Goblin return in the sequel or third film would be fine, imo. Besides, I bet a lot of people will forget that Harry's character was a "goblin".

Yeah, Raimi used Sandman (when there were better choices of villains) and he wanted The Vulture aswell, one of the most uninteresting villains in the SM Universe, for me at least/ That was disappointing.

As far as the Goblins go, I want the Green Goblin, it's a must-have of course (especially since we also have Gwen and I want them to do the story of her death),besides I'd like him to get a proper outfit this time, but no other Goblins would be fine, at least not for 2 movies after the one where GG is in.

As one of the main characters, there's nothing to forget...but it's easy to forget that Harry was actually a villain in Spider-Man 3 instead of a high school wannabe bully that broke up the popular couple.

Honestly, Harry didn't even feel or act like the GG. I wouldn't consider him a GG, even though technically he was supposed to be.

In my opinion, another reason why GG is a must is he needs to be redeemed. The GG in Raimi's first flim was good, but it could be improved.

Norman Osborn could work well as a corporate villain like in Ultimate, as opposed to a crazy guy, who occasionally terrorizes the city on a glider and then wakes up with a hang over. Make him a real scheming villain. Give him some minions.

I reckon a good villain to go with Gobby would be Doc Ock, if you use the corporate type. If Ock uses the experiment from Oscorp money and it fails Osborn would be pretty pissed. From there you could set up a Green Goblin v Dr Octopus v Spider-Man film.

Sounds a bit like the Spectacular Spider-man. I'd be all for it. Having Norman Osborn as the godfather of all super-villainy would help avoid "villain of the week" syndrome. I.e. avoid every movie having an unrelated character who is somehow turned into a supervillain by a freak lab accident.

I actually think they did Harry a lot of justice. Peter and Harry's friendship ran deeper and was more developed in the Raimi films than it was in the comics pre-late '80s and his mind game, while a bit "high school," kicked Peter where it hurt. Plus the arial fight.

I just think they did that story well enough that to do it again so he can wear a costume and cackle more seems pointless and redundant.

As one of the trifecta of the trilogy, Harry received a lot of development, but his role as a villain felt lackluster, imo. Sure, I enjoyed the aerial fight as well, but as soon as he received his head injury, he felt like a childish villain who's main goal was to only break up the couple while his father actually wanted to scare and kill Peter's loved ones.

I mean, Harry should be brought in, but not for him to become a villain. There should only be one Goblin in the new series and that should be Norman Osborn as the true Green Goblin.
