And if the "only" way to take care of a black woman's hair was to relax or perm it, I'm calling timeout! They all use strong chemicals, and you're putting that crap on your scalp, which is obviously close to your nose, eyes, and um, brain! Doing that to kids is just irresponsible, IMO. I don't care what the cultural expectations are. Rock that Afro-textured hair like Janelle Monae! She's FIERCE!

I have actually seen white dudes online gripe about black dudes with asian chicks because apparently they "called them" before we did. Ironically no one gives a **** about the asian dudes in the equation.
