It is 1am and for real I feel like I've been at the job for a full 8 hours already.

Super just arrived. We're trying to help the tattoo shop guys seal their place up. Get into the shop you can access the residential section. Also tenant noticed dudes across the street standing watch. They were hired by apartment across from us. Tenant went up, got some petty cash and now those same guys, with guns mind you, are keeping watch over our place.

It's ****ing Soylent Green in NYC right now.

Not to detract from your very real pain, but I could understand how a lot of us are feeling this way, given the state of things in the US right now. :(

Nah that's true. It's like they want us all good and depressed and sedated by our own bull****

Reek definitely has one of these.

what kind of man makes his wife cut the grass

shameful

Well tonight is a sea change from the last two days.

Far quieter. There's for sure some people skulking about up to no good but it is nothing like before. Everything is boarded up here at the job and they hired a security guard who is armed.

If the night holds as it is we'll be ok.

I'm just wondering if it really is quieter or if the press is covering the looters less to make it look better than it is.

I nodded off for a bit and woke up hella thirsty. Holy ****. Making tea now . Dat dehydration

Ok... Alive still.

Gonna head home and roll up into an adrenaline fueled ball to try to unwind.

Cops were out and in force last night though they didn't seem to go out of their way to bust heads on the whole. The remanants of the looters too seemed different. These felt more like the younger ones that wanted to join in nights one and two but couldn't. And in my area they came away mostly disappointed. The numbers just weren't there last night to be threatening, yet still too much to arrest every person doing something,

On another note... This sounds weird but part of me is worried these kids have overcome their fear of the police. And... That ain't gonna end well for all those involved.

Signing off from NYC.

Be safe all.

Sad that the looters are so brazen. It's like fake charities asking for donations -- taking advantage of a bad situation for their own gain. :(
