Christopher Robin (aka new Winnie the Pooh movie)

Lmao I just check it and Ewan McGregor has deleted all of his social media accounts. Probably because half of the comments are people calling him scumbag for cheating with MEW.

Disney probably told him to shut it down considering he portrays a workaholic man neglecting his family in a family movie.

Oh yeah. I forgot about that.

I have no interest in or connections to Pooh, but that trailer made me teary. Definitely seeing it now.

Can a moderator change the name of the thread to Christpher Robin?

Nobody is gonna know who that is. :o

The new trailer is a lot better than the first one but I'm not sure how to feel about the toys being confirmed to be real. Why would a rabbit and an owl hang out with a bunch of possessed toys anyway? And do they talk?

This reminds me so much of Hook.

Is that really Chris O'Dowd as Tigger? He still sounds like Jim Cummings to me.

From what I heard that is actually Jim Cummings I heard He took over The voice for unknown reason maybe Chris just wasn’t getting the voice right or something.

It makes sense that they went that route. I can't picture O'Dowd as Tigger for the life of me. And since Tigger is the second most popular character in the Disney Pooh franchise (or first, depending on who you ask) his voice is too iconic to change.

I just picture Tigger talking down to someone while helping them with their computer

Now run on home to your mother Christopher Robin... you tell her everything's alright. There are no more guns in the valley.

*impatiently waiting for a replica of pooh to be released*

Changed the title.

Uh...what? How? What?

It's got the same theme of "You're a grown up now who prioritizes work over family and you've forgotten your childhood friends so we're back to make you remember".

Disney took the same approach with Alice, did they not?

For the remembering part, yeah, but I don't remember Alice being a workaholic in the Tim Burton movie. Actually I don't even remember what Alice did in that movie before she went to Wonderland since I haven't seen it in over eight years.

This film looks like it will have heart. that's a big plus and selling point for me. I haven't watched much Winnie the Pooh since I was a child, but I definitely plan to see this. Trailer got me in the feels.

Tiggers are wonderful things is the opening line he uses with the chicks. And boom goes the dynamite.
