Has anyone heard if the 3D conversion for Wrath ended up being far better than for Clash.

I'm assuming it has to be better. Plus I have also heard that this film is without a doubt a better overall film the the first.

Just noticed they posted 5 more clips on SHH's front page. So for those who have watched all the clips, how's the movie?

I watched them all of Collider.com.

It's hard to tell for two reasons:

1. Out of context scenes

2. Also, the clips are being plays on 30 frames per second so they're aren't true to what the scenes will be like.

That being said, they look fine. I assume the clips are edited, so they are not full either. Shaky camera and unclose shots though.

I was just being a smartass. It's crazy how many clips they release for movies now before they're even out yet. :woot:

I've yet to see a good 3D conversion. Also saw that the length of this movie will only be 99 minutes, meh :o .

Appears they're going to throw as much s**t at you to keep you entertain for that short period.

I'm not understanding what significance the framerate has here.

It just was transferred oddly, hence it looking kinda weird and 'fast' looking in the clips.

I'm rooting for the film only because i want TMNT to be decent. It might be a fool's errand, but so be it.

Maybe those 99 minutes will be very well paced and structured? /dreams

:(

If it's super fun like Fast 5, then I'm on board. But if it's a mess, then I don't know what to think of Jonathan Liesbman. He was the prototype of a director who got noticed due to his short film back in the day, which is the norm now via internet.

But he comes off as a guy who means well but never hit his full potential in his career. That makes me sad, and I hope that 'Wrath' is decent.

I know some people don't hold much credence to reviews but I hope it's rated somewhere around 50-70 percent. I know that's being pretty hopeful but it's possible seeing as they had more time to work on this one than the last one I believe.

Here's hoping.

I dug Battle: LA so I know he will deliver in the action, I don't know how I feel about it being just 99 mins but as you guys said, hopefully it's used well.

Battle: LA just all out sucked imo so I hope this is a few steps up from that film.

Have you seen the Avengers trailer in 3D? I think that might be the first good one.

Honestly 99 minutes suits me, I'm only interested for the monster fights, I don't need 2 hour plus of Sam Worthington acting lol.

Good point. :funny:

I really liked the design of the Jinn in the last film so the biggest appeal these movies have going are these awesome mythological deities/beasts.

The chimera seems really awesome for one in this movie. So the creatures should be worth admission price alone.

The only thing I'm not looking forward to in this film is Worthington. How he keeps getting these big breaks is beyond me. His acting in the clips is appalling!

99 minutes... LOL

Back in the 90's and before there were plenty of decent/good films that were only an hour and a half. Not every movie has to be a 2+ hour "epic", especially this kind of film. It's a mindless action film and I think they can get across their story in 90 minutes.

I just felt that this movie was giving off the vibe of being one long epic. I'm still really excited for the movie, and I'm not saying they can't get the story across. It's just a really short run time for a movie like this. I was hoping for at least two hours but I'm not going to cry over it. I should have been expecting it because I don't recall the last one being long either and even the original Clash didn't exceed two hours.

To be honest I'm a bit excited for this film as well, mainly because I'm a huge fan of Greek mythology and it's great to see the Titans in all their glory. That and I'm going into the film knowing it's not going to be great in regards to dialogue, story and acting...from a certain actor. :woot:

Also, one of the reasons I disliked the first one was because of how much I loved the original, that and I didn't like some of the changes. This movie is it's own thing being a sequel and all. I only have the bad first film to compare it to.

I'm looking at this as a Jason Statham movie with monsters, all that matters is the action! :D
