Clash of the Titans Sequel May Start Filming next January

Ill just wait for netflix, this franchise seems so desperate to want be successful in 3D even though it was once again converted. Is it me or has Sam Worthington really not done much for me to consider him a leading man in movies? He was tolerable in Avatar but since all his movies have been bad or forgettable.

Try watching him in The Debt, he brings in a solid performance.

I do have that on my list from netflix. looked good. But hes done all these big budget movies now and he still doesnt feel like some high profile actor like a tom cruise or even a gerard butler you know.

Maybe its because he's so broody. For some reason I can't think of a time he's ever smiled in a movie. Except when he was a blue alien cat person.

I still kind of like him though.

possibly, its wierd though like take gerard butler for example. in 2007 when 300 hit big he became very well known and did some good movies and now mostly everybody knows him and he has that breakout role. Well with worthington he has had Avatar, Terminator, Clash and Wrath of the titans and still none of those really launched him into being a well known actor. Im sure he is great in the debt and more quieter roles but I dont think he is very good in these big budget action movies.....

I recommend Law Abiding Citizen, I havent seen someone play a villian that good in a long time.

Have you seen Machine Gun Preacher? i thought he was bad-ass in that one.

Haha, I saw Law-Abiding Citizen and really loved him in that one. He really does make a good villain. Weird that you brought this up, I kind of brought up Law Abiding Citizen in another thread as a good example for a mastermind type villain.

I haven't seen Machine Gun Preacher yet, but I'll check that one out.

How was the writing for this film? Supposedly its screenwriter is working on the Flash script right now.

I guess i'm not surprised at this...for a brief moment I thought maybe it might be good. But it's done by the director that did Battle L.A. which was the most boring action film i've seen in a long time. The guy is a horrible director.

He isn't stuck being in romantic comedies he chooses to do them because he wants to that superstar leading man (a la George Clooney). He proved he can do action with 300 then he started doing rom-coms but he's been terrible/unconvincing in those roles.

And if you want my written opinion, better than Clash but that's not saying much. Really really enjoyed Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson!

Just saw it two hours ago. Honestly for me Ramirez (Ares), Neeson (Zeus), Fiennes (Hades) and Pike (Andromeda) were the best parts of the movies for me. I'll agree, none of the characters were actually annoying. Thankfully there wasn't any forced comic-relief or dumb phrases like "don't look the ****** in the eye" either.

I wish they'd done a bit more in building up Perseus and Andromeda's potential relationship towards the end, but I'm glad their interactions weren't as awkward or eye-roll worth. They didn't feel like it at least.

Ramirez was a beast in this, and Ares made an awesome villain in this more-so than Calibos and Hades in the first one.
