Same here. I've always wanted a movie showing Poseidon, Zeus, and Hades taking down the Titan's. So happy its finally happening. Well, I don't think Poseidon is there, but it's close.

As much as I enjoyed the subpar Immortals. I love the fact that this movie has the Titans as they should be, large and hardcore.

Alexa was replaced by Rosamund Pike, so it's alright.

Usually, I hate it when an actor / actress is replaced in the sequel, but this is for the better.

I would've preferred Alexa too. I have no idea why she's not in it.

From what I understand, she's difficult to work with because she doesn't take acting seriously. She treats it more like a hobby instead of a job.





It's a shame they haven't released an Extended Cut of the first film to tie in with this sequel. Since Io isn't back (thank Zeus), I would like to think the alternate ending has been retconned to be the canon ending now.

I get a god of war vibe from Kronos, but that's the only one. The rest of the movie looks nothing like God of war to me.

Although, this was the exact same way I felt for the first one and that was a huge disappointment. But they've cut the crap in this one (Gemma Arterton) and added a volcanic Kronos. Win.

It is, but the art design and style if very much like almost a carbon copy of God of War. Like they are desperately trying to cater to GOW fans and that demo.
