lol oh please. Supergirl has a director and lead actors in place, not to mention ****ing everything else. Unless Clayface has been circling people since before the official greenlight actually went through, I’m going to say this is bull****.

I agree, what are they doing shooting it without a director?

The fact that a director hasn't been announced, doesn't necessarily mean that theres isn't one.

Can't wait for Kate Seigel, Mark Hamill, Henry Thomas, Rahul Kholi, and Victoria Pedretti to show up!

I'm going to concur with you.

I'm still holding out hope that Mike Flanagan is going to direct this and they just haven't announced it yet. He's got a busy schedule, but it seems like such a waste to bring him on as a writer and not have him as director as well.

I'm hoping for the same thing. Fingers crossed he's moving things around in the background to make it work.

Could Josh Brolin have a role in Clayface. I saw the Darksied pick that has everyone hot or bothered but the one DCU movie that is supposed to go in production this year besides Supergirl seems to be Clayface. I would guess that would be his movie as a villain.

I enjoy Flanagan's work so I am also hoping he directs. I guess it will just depends what happens with the scheduling of his exorcist movie.

Considering they want to start shooting in the spring you would think there would be some leaks for director names. But this happened last time with superman, we didn't hear about any potential directors because it was Gunn all along.

I do hope he directs, but I also think he has massive strengths as a writer that plenty directors can work with. Flanagan is a monologue, long conversation, one-shot kinda guy so someone with some restraint would probably fit.

This country’s rapid descent into madness has me hungrier for CBM news than ever. Please, Gunn, for the love of God… gimme that director.

Is Flanagan's exorcist reboot going ahead this year? The silence regarding a director leads me to believe it's going to be Flanagan.

People will ***** to high Heaven about that likely pushing his Dark Tower even further back, but considering what a passion project this has sounded like for him, I’d be all for it. Who better to direct a Flanagan script than Flanagan?

^ you're right, it definitely sounded like a passion project for him so it would be nice if he did direct. I like his work so I'm all for it. I think it's more of a scheduling thing for sure if Exorcist goes forward.

Usually we would have heard about directors by now if this is supposedly filming in the spring. It's been silent on that front.

It’s certainly not out of the realm of possibilities. There really haven’t been any substantial updates about his Exorcist since it was announced. And then there’s Carrie, but I don’t know how far along he is in developing that either.

At least with Clayface, we know the script is complete.

It was recently reported Flannagan is involved with Stephen King's CARRIE (mini-series) and it has started.

I don't really trust the source, but according to Twitter's MyTimeToShineHello, James Watkins may be in talks to direct the movie.
