Why can't you have both? It was dumb to shoot the entire film that way. People who got dizzy and threw up during the movie would probably disagree with you.
Why cant I have both what?
People disagrees that some people liked it? What the hell are you talking about? Guy1: Hey I like that movie Cloverfield. Guy2: I disagree, you didnt like it. Is that what you mean.
Many people liked the movie and some dont. But you cant say something is bad and use opinion as a fact like everybody that doesnt agree with you is wrong. Stop talking like you speaking for every person on the planet.

yes. But why is TIDO responding @ making threads on it. clearly MissingTeddyHanseen is In Game

is anyone buying the dvd besides me? I hear best buy has a free extra disc.

I'm buying the DVD. Best Buy has an extra disc that has Hud traveling around the set for, like, forty minutes, and exploring what it was like shooting the film after the teaser off set the slew of viral marketing and fan craze.

I'm getting it from FYE, for the fricken sweet metal case.

Both handheld footage and regular film footage.

I'm really, really curious how it will effect me watching it on my smaller screen (42 inch)
I have 5.1 surround sound, so that'll help. But i'm still iffy on if the effect will be just as intense on my TV as opposed to the theater.

I worried about this too, but i was watching some of it on my computer and instantly got right into it. So i doubt it. 5.1 surround sound will help a lot too!

Yeah I got some big speakers next to my tele so it should be alright.

Yeah I'm getting the metal case from Future Shop, the Hud dvd special'll be on the internet anyways.

I went and threw $5 down on it today at FYE, as I wont be able to make it over on Tues. to get it, and dont want them to sell out.

Also, I actually think the best way to watch this movie would be at home, on a projector. That would seem the most "real" to me.

Dreamburger your my hero

Meh, I might go put $5 down on it tonight so I can for sure get one. The most real way to watch this movie other than being at a theatre is to have surround sound, a big tv, and to stand directly infront of the tv.
