I was gonna get it, but it looked like it tried too hard, and I wanted the TJ Miller disc

After looking on cloverfieldclues and the inside cover I had to get it. Also, it was $19.99 one day only here, it than switched to $24.99. At Futureshop there's the normal edition and the steelbook edition, what dumbass wouldn't get the steelbook? Also the Hud special will probably be on the internet soon, so it don't mattahhhh.

I wanna get this but i am low on money. I have like 160 bucks left until i can find another job. Do i spend 15 bucks or so or not? I can trade in some older dvds to get a discount.

Buy it dude. Its awesome. Or atleast rent it. Its a must see!

I've seen it about four or five times in theaters. I'm in no hurry to get the DVD.

JAL....change your name to Fox lover? *looms at avvy and username, confuddled*
it makes sense! :cmad:

my favorite scene was when they were on the chopper, than you see the plane drop a **** load of bombs on the Creature, pretty cool scene

What's with that Chapter 17? I waited 2 mins for it to come and than it did, there's a bunch of codes or whatever, I tried clickin on em but nothing happened.

Yeah I saw it in the theatre twice. That was a hell of an experience that I don't feel the dvd could live up to. I'll see it again eventually because it is a good movie, but that might be a long time from now.

I love that scene. The monster charging at the helicopter scared me to death in the theater. I didn't see that coming.

Not all the codes work.

However, there are codes that you can click on, that in turn, pop up another code directly underneath them. Those are the ones that you want, and will bring you to certain viral videos.

yeah there's that one blonde chicks videos talking crap to teddy. The slusho commercial, the tagarto chaustation videos. just click all the links like i did. Youll find them.

alternate endings were a waste, i liked the original one better

Movie definitely holds up and is just as entertaining on a 55" Widescreen HDTV w/ surround sound. Very loud movie and it was wonderful.

hey i still haven't watched the dvd yet, but the last scene where the girl and guy are together on that ride, was a splash in the water? or was i just tripping out

Can anyone post a screenshot of that? I don't see or notice anything in that scene...:o

Btw, I had no problems watching the movie in theaters but I feel slightly motion sick watching the movie on a 42" tv...does anyone else have this same problem?:csad:

I just tried watching Cloverfield with the commentary, mannn was it boring. Matt Reeves has such a boring voice, and all he talks about is everything I've seen in the behind the scenes featurettes. I made it to the end of the party and shut it off.

I had doubts about the movie having any impact on me watching it on my 46" LCD with 5.1 surround.

Happy to stay it was still VERY intense. Love this movie. It's a classic :)

I will post a screenshot once I'm done something else.

Sorry, this is the best I can do. You can see an dark object on the right side in the sky falling towards the water:
