why do you think that? you dont think it could be better? you obviously think it could be worse, but why not better?
not hating on you or anything, i just want as much input as i can get before i spend 10 bucks seeing it. hey im in college and need as much money as possible
For me, the way it was filmed was much more personal. It's hard to explain. Typically when I watch a movie, monster flick or whatever...it's like "alright...yeah, that scene was kinda intense." But it's never too on the edge of my seat because the filming is done from the 3rd person...you are merely observing. (in normal movies)
But with Cloverfield, it was a whole 'nother experience for me. Taking it from the 1st person with a camera in hand made the experience deeper and much more believable. It's easy in your mind to say "it's all fake, just a movie" when you're watching a regular filmed movie...but when it's up close and personal like in Cloverfield...it's MUCH easier to lose yourself in the tension and excitement of the film because of the more realistic, 1st person touch.
The feeling even stuck with me after the film was over...which isn't common for me. It was so easy to get sucked in and that made the whole thing a heck of a lot more intense. It's a wild ride.
